If I see that **** Ben Foster out on his bike this morning, I'm going to cut in sharply in front of him and make him wobble.

You say you haven't seen the game but if you had you would give up all hope
I think the team are much better than that and the problem stems from the very top and until there are changes made there we are going to suffer this sort of rubbish frequently
The Pottzo system is ridiculous and we cannot continue changing managers like we do, the team have no commitment to the badge and why would they,
I'm sure when they started at Watford they were keen but that is knocked out of them after they commit to a coach and weeks later are asked to commit to a different coach.
How many coaches has Catchart played under with Watford?
Who wouldn't give up at this stage ?
I don't think this is down to the players and believe they are much better than their performances which is why they can put it up to the big teams as they can find a bit of personal ambition for those games.
But last night was comedy. I never thought I would be hoping to see the opposition score against us more, but I was.
The problem is obvious in my mind and its at the very top

I was out at a concert last night and missed the whole game. I had to check the times the goals rained in again because I couldn’t believe we could be out of sight that early - even at Arsenal it took them over half an hour to get that far ahead! Far worse than that game, or even West Ham away that same season.

I feel sorry for the players here.
No way does any player want to put in a performance like that

Imagine being a player abroad approached by Watford with the promises of premier league and shown the facilities at Watford, you would surely feel that it was a perfect move.
When players start with us some show great potential and value but give it a while and a few coaches (a couple of months ) and you can visibly see their heads drop. They must be thinking what the he'll they're doing here.
How many ex players have come back with glowing memories of Watford since Pozzo took over, maybe a few from the beginning or first promotion but I would think most players are glad to see the back of the place when they go.
The club seems to suck the life out of players and as said on other posts there seems to be a toxicity about the place
It's shambolic and when fans of other clubs laugh at the managerial merry go round, as much as I would like to defend it I know they are right

Thoroughly enjoyed the Wolves fans laying into Foster and I will admit that I might have joined in a couple of times. What a clown.

Burnley play Brentford before we play Southampton. I don't know why I feel like wishing teams around us lose - and when they do, we play our game and totally bugger it up every single time.
I loved getting promoted under Xisco and yesterday I tried to cheer myself up by re-watching the celebrations on Hive Live. Shame we had no idea what a total and complete crap show waited for us a little under a year later.

The other four of the bottom five will be just as wretched as us and unfortunately keep our hopes of avoiding the drop going a bit longer.

The only positive reason for us remaining in the Prem now is the fact it makes us more attractive to possible suitors if Ponzo does the right thing and decides to sell up.

We would cost about £125M to purchase, not including the additional debt/loan fee's on top of that. It would drop if we got relegated, but I cannot see anyone wanting to spend that amount of money, time and investment on a basket case club like ours, who would first have to talk pinky and perky into selling it to begin with.

I need a bit of light entertainment to cheer me up.

I live in hope we can turn things around with 10 games and 30 points to play for.
As other teams are also Shiite.

    - But it’s the hope and Roy’s game plans/tactics/player selection/substitutions /lack of motivation/lack of leadership/lack of energy/lack of team spirit that are all slowly killing me..

Running around like a headless chicken, 5 secs behind play is a weird trait for Hodgson to be promoting.

    Odd flex but not surprising.

Yes we are a basket case at the moment but that is down to the way we are run from the top.
As someone said in the words of Graham Taylor we are a top 30 club and have had some good quality over the last few years but have p**sed it up against the wall with managerial changes.

I honestly think Pottzo has been good for the infrastructure and if an investor felt they could turn around a poor model.it might be a good investment
Im convinced now we need change at the top

Just watched the highlights, and some of the errors we're making are just so amateurish.

I thought we were a little unlucky not to get a penalty when the score was 0-0. Could have been a pivotal moment. Dennis was probably offside as the cross came in and he didn't touch it, but did try to in the build up, so that's why it was flagged. A clear pen though had it been onside.

First goal was a decent enough move from Wolves, but our key defenders, mainly Cathcart, were just static when there was good movement around him from the Wolves players. This is how they opened up the space.

Second goal was just unfortunate. Cucho did his best to track back and tried to cut out the cross, but only managed to deflect it past Foster. Ironically, had he left it, we'd have cleared comfortably as there were no Wolves players in the box.

Enough said about the third. Foster's kicking is really shaky these days. He took a horrible first touch, but still had plenty of time to clear the ball, and the safest thing to have done was a simple pass to Kamara, or even to have kicked it off the pitch, but somehow just side footed up the middle of the pitch straight to Podence while falling on his backside. Good finish though, but it looked like real Sunday league stuff from Foster. He seemed to be flubbing it throughout the evening. Fourth goal was because Foster was too far off his line. Just before the shot he took two steps forward unnecessarily. Had he maintained his position and taken a step back as the ball was in flight and he'd probably have made the save.

When the keeper is that shaky it puts all those around him on edge, but the defending was pretty bad from everyone. That was Wolves' biggest win since 2011. They are just not prolific, but our nervousness allowed them to destroy us. Can't believe Wolves had a goal chalked off for absolutely no apparent reason as well, so it could have been worse.

We had a couple of decent moves going forward, but King had a really poor miss when through on goal. The score was 3-0 at the time, but still in the first half. Had we taken that chance, who knows, the game has a bit of life back and we've got something to play for.

We have to write that one off, and as mistakes go, probably our worst of the season in terms errors in play.
