    That was just awful. I had to stop watching the game as it was torturous and I drove to the office to do some work instead. Not sure what to think. We deserve to go down. Our players are just not good enough. I had planned another trip to see them again this season, but I think I will leave it until next season now. Strangely I do not feel anger just a dull sense of resignation.

    I hate the vast majority of players
    I hate the manager
    I hate the guys who do that unbearable podcast FTRE
    I have given my ticket away more times than I’ve been this season

    and I’ve felt like this for a number of seasons….but this is the season where I’ve finally given up and won’t renew

    Only good thing about that Interview was Emma Saunders asked the questions. I was waiting for his "almost drew the second half" cop out, and it didn't take long did it? "Losing 1-0 or 4-0 is the same thing". Err, no it isn't Roy. 1-0 shows a bit of character and you stayed in the game. Shipping three goals in 8 minutes is signs of a side with no confidence whatsoever.

    Yes. Cowardly, feeble, yellow bellied weakling. Another great find from Duxbury.

    Until Duxbury is removed, Gino is told to be hands off and more fans develop a backbone and protest nothing will change. The club has no plan or identity on moving forward. From recruitment to ground development. It's an incoherent muddle. No one in their right mind in a business sense allow a CEO like Gino to carry on. The stated aim of becoming a stable PL club is as far from being realized as ever. But then some fans would cry we are punching above our weight. By rights we should be in the third tier.

    I recall one man who was fed up of the then attitude of the board and fans. Who did not accept defeat but looked with ambition to build something great and vibrant with a clear identity. We all know that is God. Now it's a litany of excuses, secrets and lies and PR spin. Learning lessons ? Since when ? Duxbury the smarm merchant has to go.

    Along with several players who have far too much power thanks to Gino's readiness to side with them against the manager. Foster the charlatan who thinks his occupation is a hobby should be one of the first.

    This is imo, the worst performance by Watford I've ever seen. (I haven't been a supporter for as long as most of you, I've been since Jokanovic was appointed,but still).

    Pathetic, gutless, lot of players looked disinterested...

    He contradicted himself. I do feel some sympathy for the pair especially Ray. Many of these mercenaries are utter shysters.

    While Ray had a bunch of somewhat limited lads they had hearts the size of lions. Take note Kiko. Look at the Viking Heidar. Give me some of that please.

    Saying Duxbury out is just a cowardly (sorry) way of saying Pozzo out isn't it? It was exactly the same two years ago with Giraldi.

    He appoints and handsomely rewards these people to carry out his instructions and even if Duxbury is given up as a sacrificial lamb at the end of the season absolutely nothing will change.

    I did say Gino has to be hands off and let the people who know what they are doing do what they do. That means recruitment and the manager working hand in glove. Not Gino saying I like this starlet and I will get him or I think my left backs are wonderful and we are lumbered with them for half the campaign before a decent one is brought in. His dad must despair of the idiot son.

    As someone else said, we play well but get outclassed over 90mins by top teams, and against the rest we just get outplayed, out run and out fought.
    One certainty and I've said this before, we only play well when the opponents are suffering bad form or have got some big problems (Everton, manu).
    It's what we do and we all know it.!!

    I always think descriptors like gutless, spinless and pathetic are somewhat lazy slurs that all too easily get thrown around by fans of every club in a position like ours. For what its worth, more often than not, they arnt true either and I dont think they are true in the case of our players. The bottom line is that this squad we have assembled just inst good enough, there are too many players within it who are lacking at this level and the whole things being patched up by a reliance on too many 30-something players prolonging their careers by a season or two.

    Now 'shambolic' on the other hand seems perfectly apt in describing our player recruitment strategy and squad development this season.

    Surprised so many still have the energy to get annoyed. We’ve been a dead team walking for months and ever since Hodgson came in and started slating fans in his arrogant interviews I’ve stopped watching entirely. Makes life far more pleasant.

    For me, this was much worse. Because at least Man City have probably the best team in the league. Wolves are a low scoring team this season and the absolutely ripped us apart.
    Players also put more effort in the Mancity games.

    Not good enough according to Gino. Or Dyche. Could have had Dyche as the defensive coach Zola the attacking side of things. International sides do it. Why not here. Gino thinks he knows best but clearly the evidence in front of our eyes is that he does not. Just the scouting network in CONMEBOL seems to be doing what it should. Other than that what a disaster.

    Frankly shocked after witnessing that display, after every other display, featuring another Kiko self-subbing, you can possibly come out this strongly against the mentality of a great deal of our players. Years of evidence, at this point. Whether they're true in most cases is irrelevant, to be honest. They're quite clearly true in this case.
