The hospital (John Radcliffe) was always there - I don’t know if it’s been extended since. I always used to be able to park near it, then walk through the residential streets to the alleyway that led to the away end. The first time I ever went in 1979 I was ordered to the back of the queue for no reason by a PC who was just looking to irk fans by asserting his authority. However I was with my dad who made a point of noting his PC number and saying I was with him, so I kept my place.
