Is Kasper actually as good as some people make out Filbert? I think he's over rated, personally.

 

As do I. He has made some spectacular saves, and made a habit in his first season of making spectacular saves in the last minute to hold onto a point or three. Last year his form dropped alarmingly, which can't be attributed to coaching because we've had the same 'keeper coach for as long as I can remember.

He isn't particularly big and doesn't claim enough or command his area, but gives the impression that he does somehow by yelling and gesticulating at the defenders. Like a kitten arching its back and spiking up its fur. He's a decent 'keeper with a big personality and an even bigger name, which is enough to impress most fans I think.

Although in his favour he's saved roughly half of the penalties he's faced and has an enormous kick on him. He can reach the oppositions 18yard box from a goal kick on a good day. Not that we've ever made the most of this, we're crap at playing to our strengths.

I would take an experienced, unspectacular, 'does-all-the-basics' goalkeeper over him at the minute.

Plus, if its true Jack Hobbs is returning as part of the deal, that would please me greatly.

 

Oh and someone (clearly a 12 year old Leicester fan) started a rumour that Real Madrid were after him. Which was just.....embarrassing.

 

He'll fit in very well at Hull.

Well chaps, I know many of you don't particularly like Leicester City, so you will be rejoicing at the news that Sir Dave Richards is set to join the club in an advisory role. Basically we're getting an intensely ****tish and dislikeable man to oversee all the spending/cutting the club does.

This is yet to be confirmed or even reported anywhere. Over here the reports seem to suggest it's more likely that he'll follow Pellegrini to City.

Still not confirmation. It's the same as BBC, Sky Sports or a newspaper reporting that a deal's agreed with City over here, which some have.

To me it seems as though both clubs have agreed the fee but he hasn't necessarily agreed/signed personal terms with either team yet.

are not the BBC, Sky Sports or a newspaper reporting, they are by all accounts a Madrid based sports paper heavily informed with anything to do with real Madrid.
If they put he has signed or is going to sign with real Madrid then they are generally correct.
We will wait and see.

The only realistic rumours involving us this summer are about Morgan and Schmeichel leaving. Football just goes completely wrong sometimes.
