I bought one of those iron on things for Wembley but they only had 'Defoe' in stock, so obviously I wore a Spurs shirt to Wembley.

  4. I was going to have cornflakes this morning, but at the last minute I swapped to shreddies. Is this a transfer?

Blackburn have signed Simon Eastwood a goalkeeper and two midfielders in Alan Judge and Chris Taylor from Millwall.

Bolton have made a shrewd acquisition with Marc Tierney from Norwich who has plenty of experience at this level.

I see Bale and Suarez have expressed interest to join Madrid - so will they be the long running transfer sagas of the summer.

Think Bolton will be a big force next season. Us, Reading and Bolton top 3 for me.

Nottingham Forest are rumoured to have put a bid in for Kitely which Stoke will most likely accept. Alex Baptiste from Blackpool to Bolton.

Looks like Monaco have finally announced the signing of Falcao, £50m. Shame, would've liked to see him play in the Prem.

It's ridiculous. He could of played Champions League football, or play for a side hoping to win the Premiership or La Liga where he could of proven himself as one of the Worlds best players. Instead he chose Money .

I've heard Falcao, Monaco and Real Madrid may have some kind of agreement in place. Athletico refused to sell him to their closest rivals.

Bolton gain Tierney but lose Alonso to Fiorentina who were interested in him in January.

So overall a slight decline in quality. Speaking of fullbacks Birmingham City have signed Neal Eardley. I can see Blackpool sinking this season. Ince the ***** will depart at some point as will Phillips and the evil owners will continue to run the club down into the ground.

Birmingham want Ferguson back on loan, still think he would be perfect for us, think you said so once yourself too

Looked a good player whenever I've seen him. Surely could do better than Brum?

Think its only going to be a loan rather than permanent but I've seen him play a fair bit for NI and he is great, his delivery is always good too, its just we dont have anyone to finish his crosses

We're apparently close to getting Barry Bannan on loan from Villa. Apart from having an appalling name, the last thing we need is another lightweight central midfielder.

I thought you had about 3/4 fairly decent ones like James/King?

  28. Filbert

King, James and Drinkwater. All perfectly good, but Nigel Pearson likes to systematically annoy, upset, confuse and alienate our better players with inexplicable droppings and fall outs.

We need a Chalobah, a great big, rangey ******* to get around the pitch and do a bit of everything.

Massive signing. Drenthe has signed for Reading for a repored £8m. The 26 year old is a former Real Madrid player and had a very succesful spell at Everton. The parachute payment is already having an impact, this could make Reading a big force next year.
*edit-apparently Drenthe was a free and Reading are also very close to signing Hooper for £8m.
