So who are people thinking of voting for tonight? We're going to have to start making a case for someone soon. These seem to be the names in the hat with reasons given by various players:

WAS - led the witch hunt against Grrwood! Opti recommended viewing him.
NW Orn - quiet, suspicious voting patterns
Hornetgags - completely under the radar for almost the whole game
Meh! - started witch hunt against Cthulhu
PJ - quiet for a normally vocal player
Steve Harrow - message timings coinciding with Wolf messages
SLB - bluffing being the Harlot the whole time
Otter - pointing fingers at WAS

I'm going to go out on a limb here. The Traitor will be more vocal, their job is to protect the wolves and steer suspicion away. There must be a good chance that the Beta and/or the Alpha are at least one of the three quiet players - NW Orn, Hornetgags and PJ.

Edit: add Steve Harrow to the list of quiet players.

Now I'm really confused.

I think Otter is overthinking it and I'm under-thinking it. Either way my head hurts.

 

I voted for with a smile yesterday because I agreed his voting against grrwood looked iffy. With grrwood them named good, that argument doesn't stack up.

But there is still the possibility grrwood suspected something so WAS named him evil. Too obvious or simply audacious enough to get away with?

 

We don't know what to do.

That second message would be insanely misleading play from the backup Seer if it was them.

The confirmed Wolf's message yesterday used the phrase "and bingo!". Why would the new Seer possibly decide to use that unusual turn of phrase again today?

"Hello everyone! I wanted to see whether anyone stood out more than another before viewing today. It is such pot luck. Went for Diamond and they are good. I am going to try and mix up the style of writing to avoid the wolf copying me in the next few days."

We now know both are Good and Dead so these messages are irrelevant.

"Ok everybody, I know the first day is difficult. People need to remember that shouting accusations about doesn't help anybody at this stage. Today I decided to view DAFT ROW he is EVIL. I also viewed Ashdon yesterday, he is Good."

"Morning villagers. A mixed night last night. But fortune today as I viewed Steve Leo Beleck and he is evil! Ashdon was viewed as good by me yesterday. Shame that the wolf jumped at that knowledge. I do not know if Diamond is good or bad as I did not view them."

Daft Row was found to be Good, which SLB then claimed to be the Harlot. Because no-one has challenged him on this it is still NOT guaranteed but he is very likely to be the Harlot and therefore Daft Row was the Tinker. Again. Poor *******.

We can't rule out SLB playing the largest bluff in Werewolf history but it's very unlikely now unless the real Harlot has been quiet waiting for the right time. I'm personally inclined to believe he is the Harlot.

"Ouch, yesterday's result was very difficult to take. Please forgive me for guiding you towards daft row, he was the tinker. Today I viewed SQUIBBA, he is GOOD. I did not view SLB, as I believe that he is probably the harlot."

"Right everybody, last night was a shame but it was me who viewed SLB as EVIL so that helps a lot. I viewed OptimisticHornet today, he is GOOD."

We know OptimisticHornet was the Seer and he would not view himself. Therefore the Squibba Message is from the Seer if we agree.

"Ok last night has been expensive fellow villagers. Please think very carefully about your votes and messages. Today I viewed Dom, he is GOOD. I still believe we can win this."

"Morning all, disappointing lynching last night. Thought about viewing main players behind that but then thought WAS and Grrwood voting for each other was unusual with wolves knowing each other and bingo. Grrwood is EVIL."

Grrwood was found to be Good, so that means the 1st Message is TRUE. Dom is Good.

"Sorry for delay. I am back up seer and had to quickly read through messages. We were tricked last night but we will not let it happen again. You all know Dom is Good. I viewed BRLR today and he is Good. Does not help much but narrows who might be evil."

I decided to view NW Orn as Otter who is an experienced player has been adamant that NW is Evil and we seem to be getting nowhere by following the mass opinion so I thought maybe if we listen to a quiet yet persistent minority they may be right and bingo! NW Orn is Evil!"

I was just looking back at the same. Surely the seer wouldn't do that, not after the scrutiny of every message, every punctuation and every writing style

 

Quiet or active is irrelevant...have you not figured that out with the early lynchings?

The default position is "not posting much...must be the wolf...vote".

You've been very active and started campaigns against people, you claim you're the harlot...you could well be, but the day 2 messages called you evil. You tried to bluff everyone by saying Daft Row was the tinker, but what was missed was confirmation the tinker would be classed as 'good'. So Daft Row being a tinker was good...not evil as the message from the wolf declared. The next message called you evil.

This makes your situation clear, I do not believe you are the harlot, I believe you are either the traitor or a wolf.

If your only reason to come after me and the others named is because of low activity....then someone who is overly active wants to control the conversation and divert attention away from himself.

Your arguments have been spurious at best as you've been wrong on all the votes.

Third time I'm going to vote for you.

 

Is there a character that shows as Evil when viewed by the Seer but is actually good?

 

Tinker. As is what happened to Daft Row. Both SLB and Daft Row were named Evil that day, but Daft Row turned up Good.

How do we know it was definitely Daft Row and not Grrwood? Sorry guys, just like to be triple sure.

 

We don't in all honesty. It's evidence afterwards that is the best indicator we can use.

 

So although unlikely, it's not completely impossible Grrwood could have been The Tinker and Dom could still be evil right?

Hmmm... not sure you understand what the Tinker's role is.

I haven't started a campaign against anyone. It was Daft Row or me and I knew I was Good so had to defend myself. Cthulhu was then insistent I was Evil so had to defend myself again. I only thought he was Evil because he was so adamant I should be lynched!

Starting to think that you might have something to hide, before I assumed you were just making mistakes. Now it seems like you are deliberately trying to mislead.

 

Don't forget that Opti (RIP) was the Seer yesterday and he said the Grrwood message was the Wolf's and thus didn't vote for him. He wouldn't have known that if Grrwood was the Tinker, so would have encouraged us all to vote for Grrwood and certainly wouldn't have voted otherwise himself.

 

What if you are the wolf, sent a message clearing yourself and The Seer viewed Grrwood who was The Tinker?
