Wolves would be mad to target him for a kill and as long as he chooses a villager each night he's gonna help the seer to Identify the good guys and keep us all on the straight and narrow.

 

Agreed. And you could perhaps reveal some of the names later on if/when we just need to kill a final wolf and telling all would make that happen.

 

And you've effectively just told the wolf to do that also?

 

You haven't addressed the point I raised a few times though - your logic is flawed. Why would a wolf stay completely silent until after the the second message, then reply shortly after they were named as not posting? That's about the most suspicious thing they could possibly do.

My vote wasn't a conspiracy theory as I accepted it was based on a random event. I didn't think I'd cleverly "outed" someone.

Perhaps half an hour to you feels like long enough to post without it being a direct response.

You were here last game when it was explained when I was a Harlot and earlier today was explained again. Meh is unequivocally Good based on previously established logic and evidence in the write up.

 

Then honestly, please don't bother. Creating confusion and detracting from the sensible posts out there.

 

I would say that it's law of probability

2 wolves went to kill - 1 succeeded
The other wolf went to kill Meh, they wouldn't kill them self

Unless there is another evil character that has a reason to be out and about the probability is Meh is good

 

There aren't too many sensible posts out there.

And I'm not asking for you to be lynched, just viewed. Viewing you is no more or less a risk than anyone else at the moment (except me which would be a waste).

However, with the below scenario can you explain if and why it is impossible or highly improbable?

Alpha or Beta Wolf Meh went to kill Cthulhu, succeeded. Other wolf went to kill Meh, didn't succeed as he was out killing Cthulhu.

Apologies if I'm making no sense. Just want to make sure we're all working with facts, not just going with the easiest explanation?

 

CB also played in the last game. He used more than one post to clarify what the role is, to draw attention to the fact that Meh would be out each evening.

 

Following this through I think its possible , but very unlikely ,be interesting to know what the odds would be.

 

Was targeted twice last game by a wolf when role was new and unannounced early on. Trouble is, whereas before the role was unknown so it helped save 2 potential villagers, now it's saved 1 but it's very unlikely to work again in that sense.

But the logical extension is that if either Daft Row or me were wolves, we'd decided not to post at all, or at least not until really late in the day and it was only your clever ruse that flushed us out.

Well, if we hadn't posted at all, we'd have been removed from the game, and if we'd only posted late on, we'd be in the firing line for inactivity. Your conclusion that we're more suspicious is completely counter intuitive.

 

Hahaha - you make me sound like I think I'm some kind of mastermind and expert at this game. I really do not think that I am.

At the time it was no attempt at all at a clever ruse. Someone asked me who was inactive and I said 3 people I think. Nothing to bloody "flush you out", just at that moment I looked at the voting list and your names were ones I'd not seen messages from.

You then both posted soon after. Perhaps just a coincidence that you were free just as we started moving on to non posters.

It's just my opinion. The fact that yourselves and a few others posted later means that you all seem a little suspicious as Diamonds last words indicated.

Even if you ignore the logic behind his initial post, the fact you responded quickly after he called you out is suspicious.

 

Hoping Otter concludes his meeting soon and we have some more messages to work with , because at present we seem to be chasing around in circles

Diamond had no greater insight than anyone else, just because he left some famous last words, they don't carry any greater weight.

I'd look at anyone pushing his last words as some kind of prophecy as suspicious.

 

I am very suspicious about a lot of people right now. The worst part is that there appear to only be two wolves in the game, whereas i'm convinced at least 7 people are wolfy.

 

There are two teams in this game.

A good team which is trying to work out who is good/ bad.

An evil team, which is trying to deceive.

Of course Diamond can only offer suspicions, but I’m not sure why you’re trying to rubbish and scare people away from the words of a very perceptive, experienced confirmed good player.

With no messages, his theories are better than anything else we currently have.

I just noticed, the wolf actually got past the guardian and into Meh's house but couldn't find him if Otters write up is anything to go by.

Does one of the wolves have a power that helps them bypass the guardian?

Like I say, your sleeping around will prove very useful. I've not played in a game with a Harlot before, but not only will you be able to gradually identify good and bad players, you'll also be able to hopefully get some insight onto future messages, as to which is wolfy and which is Seer.

I presume that was simply narrative to expose the Harlot role for Meh

 

I was thinking the same, and that I wondered if me being out could maybe have been left out of the story to mix it up a bit, like the guardian stopped the wolf outside my house without ever knowing I wasn't even there.

I guess it's a grey area as to whether I still have to be exposed even though I was guarded and could have been very confusing later in the game.
