We could win any tie, would like Shrewsbury at home though. Chelsea and Everton playing stronger teams as they are not in other competitions. Arsenal isn't a bad draw with their fixture list. Reading would leave us favourites, both Manchester clubs would leave us a good chance especially if they play reserve sides.

Well, it looks like one Manchester side won't be in the draw, like Chelsea are 3-1 up now.

  7. Palace and Spam through, City throwing it. At the moment the only higher placed clubs will be Spam (thrashed them already) Arsenal maybe who will have a fixture nightmare and Man U who are crap.

Foolish to discount Chelsea from this. Admittedly they are below us, but they're a whole different beast now.

They were already Chelsea 2.0 when we held them to a draw a couple of weeks ago. With Spurs and Man City out we can beat anyone else in the draw.

i'd still love Reading, Shrewsbury or Hull though.

Think they'll take that, very good chance of winning the league.

Good draw but nightmare from an organisational perspective. They've not even fixed the replay yet and it's rumoured it might not happen until QF weekend. In which case our QF with the winner could end up the last tie played some time after the other 3.

We play them in between Spurs away and Barcelona away haha amazing.

Hopefully this gets moved to Sunday just to make Wenger do what City did tonight.

They all assume it will be the Arse. Fingers crossed it's the Hull Tigers......

Although we'd all love Hull Tigers to win, playing them away whilst they are on a high won't be easy at all. The performances against Forest/leeds against Hull wouldn't cut it.

I think we have a chance. If Hull can hold them, then so can we.

I suppose we've had favourable draws until now so we can't complain.

Extremely disappointing draw. Probably one of the hardest ties we could have got if we want to progress. Oh well.

An interesting point though.....Arsenal have been drawn at home 15 times on the trot!!

Actually I don't think it's the worst draw. If Arsenal win their replay then obviously it's a huge challenge, but they will have the league to go for too and by the law of averages can they win a third FA cup in a row? Maybe they're due for a defeat in the competition. There will be no pressure on us.

If it's Hull, well they won't be easy either but again they have the league as their main aim.

Obviously we'd have preferred Reading, but I'm actually happier at the thought of a tie against a team chasing other trophies than I would have been had we drawn Everton, West Ham and maybe even Palace, all of whom will see the cup as their main priority.

I guess there's a doubt our tie will be played on 6th round weekend?

    The Cup is ours!

1-0 win away in the QF, then another 1-0 win against the winners of the Reading v Palace QF in the Semi, and yet another 1-0 win to who cares who in the Final!

    Easy Peasy!

Arsenal get all their ****ing cup games at home. The little ****s

Why can't some other team deal with them.
Now spurs are out this was the one team we had to avoid and we get them at home.

    Goodnight Vienna

Can anyone tell me if there is any precident for Watford winning a FA Cup Quarter Final away to Arsenal?

If so, how far did we end up progressing?

Are you insane??!! It's perfect. If Arsenal get past Hull - which isn't a given - they've got Barcelona in the week after the tie. Assuming they haven't been battered in the first leg they'll play the stiffs against us. THIS IS OUR YEAR!!!!!!!!!

We beat them 4-2 at Highbury in 1987 then lost in the semi final
