Training wear is now available to buy

    £38 for a polo shirt...

The Watford badge on all the training wear is just printed on. Will come off after a few washes, so surprisingly that they couldn't be bothered to put on a stitched badge considering how much they are charging for training wear.

Jeez, I'm not a buyer of 'kit' any more whether it be shirts or training gear. However, can see the way the club is going - there's loads of different options of training gear on the website for the first time ever and it's also much more expensive than has been in the past. Seems partnering with Adidas may make us look more professional and 'Premier League' - but it will come at a cost for fans!

I also wouldn't be against a wacky lurid away shirt, it's been a while....

It was literally these in white, though, wasn't it: [IMG]

It's really quite something that yellow hasn't been included with any of the training gear.

It's almost like Adidas know that a lot of people don't want to wear bright yellow all the time

  9. cpm82

Granted but something nearer to the clubs core colours of black/red/yellow would be nice.

Leaked on Twitter. Our away kit. Reminds me of Boro's home kit last year with different colours. It's not that bad tbh

Purple and orange will probably be a third kit.

Might be the quality of the image, but that sash looks horrendous tbh.

The away kit is based on the Regista 16 template.

Has anyone seen this purple and orange kit as wondering where this description/rumour is coming from?

Lol that is absolutely dreadful! . That sash is so bad, I laughed out loud.

Genuinely, it looks as though someone had carefully designed that kit, only for the printing machine to go on the fritz and slap the sash on completely the wrong area of the shirt. The guy in charge probably just decided to roll with it.

How can anybody have thoughts as strong as that about a sash? Personally think it's an okay detail, no more, no less...

    Christ, that sash is horrific

Look at Janmaat, it doesn't even go all the way round

I'm more narked that it's basically Boroughs kit from last season.

Not having a go pal, just saying, really don't see anything offensively bad about it. Seems every kit we release has people using words like horrendous and disgusting, when they're standard football shirts to my eye anyway.

Without the badge and sponsor - sash looks alright in this pic to me.

Definitely a photoshop... Look at Cleverley's left arm, unless he has a terrible mole problem, there is no reason to have ridges on his arms... Even if a person took a photo of the leaked photo, i'm pretty sure it wouldn't distort like that.

Also, it took me 10 minutes with paint to adapt the Middlesbrough 2016/17 kit into "our" kit above...

Had there been a pic of the home kit launch with players in the same poses i might have agreed.. but it would take some doing not only mocking up the kit colour/design but also how the players are positioned. I just cant see anyone going to the trouble.

PS Found an all white version of that template.. sounds daft but i thought it was great. With red shorts & socks that would have done nicely :)

You may be right but in regards to the players poses. All the person photoshopping has to do is get three Watford players in different stances whether it is from modelling other kits in the past and then only has to update their kit to the one they claim is the real deal. On top of that, people do that sort of stuff (uploading fake photoshopped "leaked" kits) to try and get attention on social media such as Twitter. BUT, you may be right. It may actually be the kit and if that is the case, I am a bit disappointed with the colour contrasts etc.

    The white should be yellow.

I think this may be the real deal. If it is, I am pretty annoyed the white wasn't yellow..so we can mix and match with the home kit. We are in the Premier League so shorts can be overlooked in shorts clashes. Man Utd always wear black shorts at Everton, Man City and Leeds. Why can't we do the same with red shorts, if the home team wears black shorts ala Newcastle? Or do we try to avoid wearing yellow as much as possible? One thing does irk me is Nike and their stunt of "authentic team wear" at another 50 quid. So everyone were buying fake shirts beforehand? What a load of toffee. Anyway if anyone has the 1976 WFC shirt..wear it with pride

Shorts clashes are no longer seen as a big deal and sock clashes are much more likely.

We'll just wear our away kit when we're playing a team that aren't in red, wonder what we'll wear away to Bournemouth though, hopefully all yellow again

Well, it's because some people are more interested in certain things than others are. It's alright, it's how the world works. So some people will be very interested in the intricate details of the kit, positive or negative, whilst others will not. I doubt those who are will start complaining and chastising those who are not for not being so, particularly not on a thread specifically created to discuss the finer points of our kit manufacturer.

Just a warning for anybody thinking of buying the new training polo to discreetly show support for Watford while playing golf or going on holiday...

No matter what colour you buy, they've all got "FX Pro" printed in red in foot high letters across the back.

Not so discreet and they don't show that on the club shop website.

The v neck training shirts are blank on the back but as somebody said, they're cheaply printed on club badges. I visited the club shop today, and was pretty unimpressed so didn't buy any of them. I did fancy a polo shirt but you'll look like a prat advertising FX Pro in such a way....

Or you might look like a pro golfer with a sponsorship deal, especially when wearing it abroad.
