Times have linked him with Walter's job if there is a change.. But then they just say he has been in London learning English and watched Chelsea a few times..
Here's the link from the Hertfordshire Mercury... http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....team-manager/story-30330345-detail/story.html
There's a wonderful thing called Google...you should try it. And I hope it isn't a wind up...it'd be like Zola's first season...only better.
I do normally and I have done so now, but the name sounded so unlikely at first that I did not bother before. Having had a look, as long as he speaks English he might not be a bad shout, though having not managed outside Russia before might be a disadvantage for him?
Is Leonid a funny name then?! Not known for their fun loving, jovial personalities are they,Russians? Walt may seem like Bob Monhouse in comparison!
Apparently he's been living in London learning English (sounds familiar) and is besties with Roman Abramovich...might get Ake back.
No thanks. Dear Gino, If you're reading this, please push the boat out & bring in a recognised manager that understands this league, speaks fluent English, preferably has won something & knows how to time substitutions properly. Do it after then Man City game, so we can then look forward to next season. Love H4E x
Whatever happened to Leonid Slutsky? He got an ice pick that made his ears burn. Whatever happened to dear old Walter? To Slavisa Joka and Sanchez Flores? Whatever happened to the gaffers? No more gaffers anymore...
Never managed in a league outside of Russia and bombed the national team out of the world cup bottom of the group No thanks
[QUOTE="...it'd be like Zola's first season...only better.[/QUOTE] So it won't end in disappointment after a complete non show in the biggest game of the season?
Read a good article on him a few months back: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...ondon-oyster-cards-book-mormon-hopes-premier/
Superb.... they could do a comeback album of WFC inspired classics, especially if we signed Son on a short 30 day loan from Spurs... Golden Horn Texture like Son Plays it down With the ball he runs From far away He stays for a day Never a frown With Golden Horn
Any of them. Marco Silva would be my preference, but anybody capable of fielding a team with some attacking intent, motivating the players and engaging with the fans would be a step up. I like the suggestion I've seen of Jokanovic if Fulham fail to come up. I'm fed up of feeling disconnected with the squad and being disappointed after every single game. We need change, not excuses every week
I'm growing quite tired of seeing all these unrecognisable foreign players and managers passing through our club at will. A lot of what was spouted by opposition fans when the pozzos first took over turned out to be true.
Isnt it more like 'Slut-ski?' http://images.clarin.com/sociedad/E...on-record-guinness_CLAIMA20160413_0085_28.jpg
RPL is a bit of a closed shop in terms of who can win it as with most leagues. No thanks. Nice guy and realistic expectations but not who I would choose.
Silva please. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/3557718/watford-marco-silva-hull-boss-walter-mazzarri/
Comes over quite well in the article, but I can imagine we'd end up with a Volgaload of massively overpriced guys who'd had one stellar season in Russia, where the premier league is like Scotland or Holland with a couple of decent teams and a dozen who make up the numbers.
