    There are no legally enforced covid restrictions in place anymore, but plenty of private businesses and organisations still either encourage or enforce them - makes total sense that the Prem is one, really, because apart from its often glacial response pace to anything, football teams have more to lose than most if covid does go round unchecked, even in a less 'dangerous' form, and that's not to mention the fact that it's always the case that another team will potentially be put at risk by another, which feeds even further into the minefield and makes particular caution the order of the day/season.

    That's just my personal view that's all. 2006/7 was the last season I got to go with my Elder sister before she was diagnosed/passed from Cancer. To me, that made that season great being able to spend time with her.

    I don’t agree, certainly about 99/00. Because expectations were so low, the (admittedly few) highs were real highs.

    The Liverpool and Chelsea wins were two of the best in my time as a supporter - and I was around in the 80s.

    We also had a bit of a cup run in one of them didn't we? And this season hasn't outperformed them in terms of wins yet and looks likely that it won't.

    This season is easily more horrible than both of those IMO. The home performance against Norwich, on GT memorial day, with a pre-match call to arms from Sissoko has to rank as one of the worst moments I can ever remember from a WFC side. And there have been plenty more similar before and since.

    I hope we get battered tonight. Hate this team. Hate the coach. Hate the owners. Hate this season.

    They put in decent performances against the top teams with nothing to show for it. Then turn up like a pissed up Sunday league team against teams out of form that are there for the taking.
