I don’t get all the pessimism on here, it’s still all to play for. We still need another 10-15 points to ensure a top half finish, something we could never take for granted in the pre-Pozzo era.

 

In all seriousness, if Wilder has really had a good old shout at them, it will be interesting to see if there is any difference in intensity tonight. If there isn't, it really does show that the players just don't care, and it really doesn't matter who the manager, sorry, "coach", is.

I did, at least, enjoy his comment earlier that his post-game analysis was a case of 'I talk, you listen' after the last 'performance' at the weekend.

I don't hold much hope it will make any difference, of course, but at least the visual of an irate northerner chewing them out as he beams brighter than the sun is briefly warming as a fan.
