This can’t be right as it says a few posts above this yours that Brighton are barely even capable of scoring.

 

Hopefully the season will get rained off and we can rely on Duckworth/Lewis.

 

If we can get Sarr and Kalu on the wings to bridge the gap between the midfield and front two I think we have got a good chance tomorrow. I would still stick with a 442, the middle pair in the midfield would be two of either Etebo ( is he fit yet? ) , Sissoko, Kayembe and Louza for me. The defence looks more solid now, feels strange to say that!!

I hope Sarr starts tomorrow as this is a very important game.

 

While Brighton played well, the reverse fixture was a very poor game where they never had to get out of first gear. Not expecting a classic, but hopefully we should be a lot more organized and quicker out of the blocks. Have to start picking up points at home to partly compensate for the truckload we've dropped already (I say partly, because we've dropped a colossal 26, and we only have 24 points left at home to play for!).

Ironic that this time Louza if he plays could be the difference between a draw and a win.

I said ironic because of how out of his depth he looked in the reverse fixture, but since then he’s shown albeit very sporadically and fleetingly he could be an important player (and some have been calling for him to be picked more often). I just hope he really delivers when it matters given how much we paid for him…

Go 1-0 down after 20 mins to a well-worked move and a smart finish. We equalise around the 40 min mark through JP or Dennis. Half time 1-1.

Brighton winner on 70 mins through some horrendous fackap or other. Maybe a keeper error (catch another obvious backpass Fozzie?) or some other nightmare defending calamity.

We never really threaten an equaliser. Cucho comes on, but fires his one opportunity miles over the bar.

I was in Brighton this week as it goes. Attending our Lilly's graduation ceremony - did I mention she's now officially a paramedic? If I did, I'm sure I didn't mention she passed with a 2:1 - only 4 marks off a first.

Due to the fact that our original train was cancelled, we had to get an earlier train. ETA of first Watford pub pint...10:45. I should be well numb for the game.

We've had a two game Roy warm up so I'm expecting a proper home performance today.
Sarr prob got to training yesterday and gasped at the cold, didn't like it and went straight home.!
I think we'll start tight and then bring on Sarr for last 25 mins....
