I didn’t even ‘pick a fight’ with you! I made a humorous reply to your post - some found it funny, most overlooked it and you chose to turn off your sarcasm radar.

There are plenty of people on here who often agree with my points - I certainly won’t lose sleep because you or anyone else wants to ‘put me on ignore’. It’s funny to me, not an attack on my ego like you seem to have convinced yourself.

No I asked what qualifies someone to judge a set individual as to whether they're are taking drugs, drunk or unstable! That simply isn't judging anyone it's a question.

Indeed it is. But I'd never put anyone on ignore, well I don't believe I have. Anyways it's interesting to read other posts and opinions but it staggering when I'm insulted for giving my opinion whether it's liked, valued or dismissed. It's my opinion and it was a worthwhile response.

I think some people just moan, moan then moan again and the are cynical and make jokes about anybody who actually tries to do anything. Fair play to anybody that’s going to put anything out there to try and get something done. Better than keyboard bashing and sneering. Maybe it won’t provoke a reaction but at least an effort has been made.

I don’t believe I’m better than anyone. I just don’t. Because I know I’m not. I’ve learnt valuable lessons in life though the death of loved ones, including my child (not looking for sympathy) that have heavily informed me that life owes me nothing and that I’m nothing special.

So I am on no high-horse. I am on no ladder. I don’t need to climb down from anywhere.

I see posts I agree with and I see posts I disagree with and I respond accordingly - often with humour or despair, but always with good intentions. You and Tonycotonstache are certainly not people I have had running battles with so if you’ve taken my jokes the wrong way, my apologies. But likewise, I would suggest you both introspectively look at how your reactive posts have come across too.

All this nonsense about me not criticising Gino or putting any energy into it is just that - nonsense. I’ve been critical for years so I will call it out when people lazily suggest I’m only looking for arguments and not the actual issues at the club. Me, Moog, GD, Nath, Jumbo…and there’s many more that have long been known as people who have been most negative about the ownership for seasons now - it’s quite funny to see someone telling me today that I need to put more energy into it as if they themselves have been barking it for years.

But I think this Twitter campaign is futile because it won’t reach the club in the way it needs to as quickly as it needs to - it may evolve, I guess. I’ve suggested what the podcast in question could do to actually make an impact. But some of that Patreon money they ask for into a full size banner for the Rookery with the same message. And unfurl it at every game.

Genuine question. What are you intending to do? Just post your screenshot over and over again on social media? Or something more meaningful? If the later I can see the value of asking Pozzo to communicate even though I’ve lost all faith in him. If the former then it seems to me that is even more futile than “keyboard bashing”.

 

Early days, let’s see what traction can be achieved.

Don’t get me wrong, I admire the effort, but given that the employees don’t hear a peep from Gino, I doubt he’ll be too bothered by a small fans reaction. That’s what he employs a CEO for - and look where that’s got us with comms.

On the other hand, on the chance that he does make a statement, what are you expecting him to admit? Buying Sarr was a costly mistake? Not backing Gracia was his greatest **** up? You’ll most likely see something about how we’re operating in a challenging post-pandemic world which has impacted how the club operates on and off the pitch, but he’s confident he has the right people around him to move the club forward given time. Will that be enough to satisfy several seasons of one bad decision after another?

Fair enough if so, but not for me I’m afraid
