I know the all-time record score is 149-0 (which was in a game in Madagascar where the losing team deliberately scored own goals in protest at refereeing decisions, so it doesn't count for these purposes!), then the next highest I think is all the way back in the 1800s between Arbroath and Bon Accord in the Scottish Cup, I genuinely wonder if they managed as many shots in as that!
From a very quick google search the most I can find is that Atalanta had 47 shots in a Serie A match in 2019 and scored a grand total of 0 goals. I'm sure it has been beaten in Sunday league or youth football or sometime before they counted shots though.
Remembered about this thread with the links about Kayky. Young Kaua has started making first team appearances for them now - and has scored twice in just 250 mins.
Thought it was the same player initially and was about to congratulate the forum on convincing his uncle(?) to get him to sign for us!
That first goal (the header) was really good, to score outside the six yard box with a straight header!
I think you have inadvertently hit on our transfer issue ..... Gino trying to pay using his rubber cheques !!!
His movement in the build-up is really impressive as well. Drops back to try and receive a pass. Doesn't get it and his marker briefly follows. His marker then realises that he can't actually follow Elias due to the position of the opponents, so drops back. So Elias just holds his position in loads of space. Ball goes down the line, his marker drops further back to go with the play and so then Elias makes his run, lovely stuff.
If Watford have a 3rd strip this year it should be in Fluminese colours the amount of talent we have robbed of them. He does reming me of JP Is this just Reids scouting or are we actually in for him?
We were linked with him last summer (I think his uncle confirmed that we were in for him? Can't remember whether he verified it or not), but there's not been any links since. The rumoured signing of his CB teammate reminded me of this thread so I bumped it. So little bit of both!
