So at least three PL teams will start next season with new managers.

Two are clubs I feel we could realistically hope to finish above, if we get things right of course.

They’re rivals who will both be having to make new appointments after a few seasons of stability, and as @a19tgg says, get it wrong and that could benefit us considerably.

Harry the Hornet would be out of job, so it's a "no" from me.

Would be a task and a half to finish ahead of Wolves, they had a horror season with their amazing striker getting a horrible injury, and they still stayed up with ease. Jimenez should be back next season by all accounts too

Absolutely no reason so far that we can't finish above Palace, I bet if you asked them right now they'd snap your hands off for 17th

Zaha would be brought in to replace him as mascot no doubt.

    'Wilfrid the Whale' anyone?

Going to walk the league. Seen reports that Ole won’t let Garner go out on loan again and plans to use him in the first team squad this upcoming season. That’s United getting relegated.

Garner could guide Man U to 5 titles, 3 champions leagues and win the world cup for England and we'd still think he was ****.

    HMS Survival sounds better.

Bedwetters will keep us afloat even if there's a drought next season.

I'm talking about us qualifying for the Europa Cup at the end of this season by finishing high enough in the PL.

I had a dream last night that our first game of the season was away at Arsenal and we won 5-1.

    Things to note…

    • We played in all yellow with a 5-3-2,formation and most of teams were made up of Oxbridge student from the 1920s, as though they had travelled forward in time .
    • I went to the match, but thought it was at home, so I missed it.
    • On leaving Vicarage Road, (which was situated in an industrial northern landscape), I walk to the wrong train station and got on a train and ended up at a futuristic looking Portsmouth.
    • I managed to catch a complete rerun of the game on ITV the next day, by this time I was back at primary school.

That's definitive enough for me. I'm putting £50 in it at 5,000,000:1 (the Oxbridge student bit has really helped the odds).

What an incredible shoot out. De Gea failing to save any one of 10 pens then missing one, you couldn’t make it up.

Most of them were outstanding but you knew De Gea would miss.

BTW better keep Shaw off penalties for England if it comes to that.

    Pleased for Capoue.

    Poch back to Spurs apparently...

Smacks of being a one hit wonder to me, probably the best manager they’ve appointed in a long long time and they can’t see past him.

If that was De Gea's last game for United and I was manager I would have substituted Henderson for him before the end of extra time. He has no physical presence and it was obvious he would be the one to miss his penalty when it came to his turn. Down to you Solskear.
