Not sure if it's been mentioned however because of a spat between the Porn Kings and Westfield Shopping Centre, you can't gain access via Westfield. Gold and Sullivan wanted a kick back from the restaurants and eateries in Westfield on matchdays due to the increase supporter traffic. Westfield said no, so Gold and Sullivan blocked off access.
Did I say that? Gold is a git, the Olympic Stadium deal is arguably an illegal state aid and I may have more grievances following my afternoon there tomorrow.
Just petty, penny pinching morons. I'm sitting with a Wet Spam fan in their curve/end and most of their fans think it's a p!ss take. They get the stadium for next to nothing and it's quite funny because Westfield said to them, what happens if fans go on a rampage, who pays for the damage? Gold and Sullivan said it's the restaurant's problem, so Westfield told them to go and do one.
I am going to avoid Stratford and tajke the longer walk from Hackney wick. With the predicted rain Stratford will be more rammed than normal
Expecting a point tomorrow, our performances are there. Just need to ensure we don't tire after 70-80 mins like we did against Chelsea.
Was thinking exactly the same! Though a point would be better than nothing. Tactically I would play this quite attacking, but remembering also to defend so as not to concede.
We need to get the balance right between scoring and conceding. I have a feeling this is the kind of game where, if we manage to score more than we let in, we should be able to take the three points.
I seen this why do the BBC continue to do this vs Lawro score prediction crap? Especially with so called celebrities who don't even know about football Dave Bautista openly admitted he hadn't even heard of Burnley or Hull! Although its hard to know who is more clueless the celebrities who know nothing about football and are just after a bit of air time or Mark Lawrenson THE FOOTBALL EXPERT, apparently it will be a tough season for us what is he basing this on a draw away to Southampton, and a loss to two of the best teams in the country and my guess is that he didn't see of those games either.
Point here would be good but I expect a defeat Shame we couldnt hold on for 1 point or even 3 at home to Chelsea, would have bought some invaluable breathing space As others have said, season starts after Man U, I expected to have 0 points after 5 games, so we are already 1 up on that and even if we lose the next 2, we also have the same points return from the corresponding fixtures last season
Our start does not come with much expectation compared to the same fixtures last season. You say our season starts after Man U, we have a tough target to match as we won 5 of the 6 games against the teams that went down last season.
What happens to the all you can eat Chinese when Deeney gets at the bain Marie for just an eight pound cover charge?
In a recent interview for 'High and Mighty' magazine , Deeney revealed that Bain Maries were only second in his top 3 of things Marie related . Number one was Marie Antoinette for her exclamation " Let them eat cake " Bringing up the rear in third was 'Marie Xmas' as it was the only time he could eat a years supply of 'After 8 Mints' , Quality St ' and roast dinners without anyone raising an eyebrow .
Hard on amrabat being totally dropped. Saying that, we've a good line up today. Should be picking up a point at least.
Well, well, well I was in a taxi back from Stanstead this afternoon and stopped checking my phone for updates after West Ham went 2-0 up. Got home, switched it back on and we are 3-2 up! I then sat through the final 30 minutes, during which Pereyra, Capoue Ighalo, Deeney, Success and Okaka created and spurned chance, after chance, after chance. We genuinely could have scored 10 today and i've just seen more football played in 30 minutes than in the final 6 months of last season COYH!
That was brilliant. By far the most creative, exciting and attacking football I've seen us play since Slav was in charge.
