Think Vydra's only scored 2 penalties. Murray actually has 24 goals, so minus the pens and they're level. Though Vydra has played a lot less. Pretty confident I can get my Vydra top goalscorer £5 @ 40/1
Ok well I'm sure after Friday Vydra will make up for that. :]] That is if he even plays, with him on international duty.
Vydra has scored an average of 1 goal every 84.4 mins this season in the league, Murray has an average of one every 95.3.
dat cant b rite or vydrer would got scored more than murray but murray is bigger scorer. He's ONE of ARE OWN
These Palarse fans need to wind their necks in. Coming on here talking up their chances of a draw. Bloody liberties.
Think the team will be: Almunia Doyley Hall Ekstrand Cassetti Abdi Hogg Yeates Pudil Deeney Forestieri Subs: Bond Neuton M'bia Eustace Battocchio Geijo Vydra
You dont expect Chalobah even on the bench? He plays tonight, Tue > Fri is no different to Sat > Tue, something footballers do often enough.
On behalf of the silent majority on this board i would like to formally ask Pink and POSL to **** right off back to there own board and to the squalor of south london - we neither want you or your incite on our board nor do we care about how you feel that you stole Bolaise for 300k from Bristol City
I think the result will be down to how many of our 7 internationals Zola decides will be too tired to play; knowing him he will leave them all out, which would hand the game to Palace on a plate!!! Personally I would probably only leave out Nos, because of the journey he will have to undertake; the rest of the normal 1st teamers involved I would play if uninjured.
Exactly, with a terrible manager and a ****ty squad, we can only rely on the first team. I'd rather have a half fit Vydra than that half wit Geijo.
Every forum has one but suspect he may be joking. For me, it's always nice to have fans from other clubs on here although some are a pain in the ar5e. Notably Caskey from Brighton who seems to be a bit of a prat! But I guess you Palace fans won't be shocked about that. God knows what the team will be like Friday (rubbish day for football) but Nosworthy aside hopefully everybody will be ok. I'm a little bit surprised that they have a game on a Friday at the end of international week but Sky own football these days. Hopefully this will be the team Almunia Doyley Hall Ekstrand (if fit, god knows who if he isn't) Casetti Pudil Battochio Chalobah Abdi Vydra Deeney What's your likely line up?
So to summarise, Zola has given the points to palace, Nos is a journeyman and our players are too tired? Why don't you just support the lads instead of slating them!?!?
Think I'll watch this one from the comfort of the pub, bound to lose without a first string team! Have fun freezing!
We may have had our disagreements on one or two occasions but I`m more than happy to be friendly:drinking:
This is Zola's fault for not managing the squad correctly. Ffs, change their nationalities, force them to retire, just do something Gianfranco!
If the third centre-back position is between Neuton and Tommo, it would be good to see Tommo given a belated chance. It would also be good not to see Neuton.
If/when we get to the Premier League, and Neuton is still with us, he'll be one of our first choice defenders.
Quite a lot of Neuton hate on this forum ever since he played his first game or two. I like him, but he does make the odd error and needless foul. I think that he was talked up quite a lot on here, and maybe he hasn't met the expectations that some of us had as a result. More games will mean less mistakes though, as we have seen with Ekstrand. We have some really great defenders that still haven't reached their potential - Neuton, Hoban, Ekstrand, maybe even Hall (he has said that this season has been by far his best season). Nosworthy's been better than he's been in along while with us as well if we're to believe what fans of his old club(s) said when we got him as well. This is not so much match discussion, but all we need is cover(/long term replacement for Cassetti for when that time inevitably comes) for LWB and RWB and we have an incredibly strong back line, the strongest we've ever had surely.
likely palace 11 Peron, Richards damage Delaney Parr, zaha, bolaisie, dobbie,kg,Williams,Murray. Fair few injured in the middle, we will miss jedinek.
Oh, and also, just because a player's called up to a national squad doesn't necessarily mean they'll play, right?
If Ekstrand is not mended my back 3 would be Cassetti +Hall + Doyley, with Bia or Anya filling in on the right. I'd put Murray in the shop where he can throw shirt around to his hearts content.
