We've been much better at set pieces since having 3 at the back. Plus it'll allow Janmaat and Holebas to push up. Deeney will always play against teams who will sit back against us at home, thats pretty clear to anyone with a brain (no offence). And as Pereyra only trained yesterday I'm interested as to who you think should start instead of Carrillo?

That's a super weak midfield coz of the injuries....2 in the middle, and one of them is Capoue....think this game will be a little disaster

Poor defending, but Hudderfield were offside not once but twice (!) in the lead up to the goal. When do these decisions start balancing out?

 

Couldn’t make it today so not seen the goal. What I will say is that our results at the minute have nothing to do with poor officials and everything to do with poor form! Let’s not become a fan base that blames other factors beyond how poor we are defending.

Hopefully we can turn this around today, but quite simply it will be unacceptable to lose to this Huddersfield team with their away form.

In wouldn’t say it was worse, but it was from behind hence why I assume it was a red, at first glance it also looks two footed, but it’s not, his left foot is planted and slides away from his right as he does it.

 

I don't know whether to laugh or savagely murder somebody in a frenzied rage.

Nowhere near. I can't see anything other than a malicious decision by the referee. It would have been a harsh booking had it just been a yellow.

 

Just calling it as I see it. We are in poor form, but talking purely about this game, would we be 2-0 down and a man down if the officials were doing their jobs properly?

I would take 17th at the end of the season if offered it now. Brighton, Leicester and Swansea as our next 3 games. On our form we will be lucky if we get 3 points. Pathetic!

Legitimately feel like I need a break from football for a while after these past three games. Supporting Watford right now is utterly exhausting.

 

The players know Silva won’t be here at the end of the season if he gets his way and have stopped playing for him. Cheers Marco, you had it all. W**ker!

 

Maybe Gino will sack Silva after this match...

 

I never know what to worry about more in our games at the moment, conceding yet another goal or getting a 2nd or 3rd player sent off. Imagine the irony and the media outcry when Silva gets sacked.

 

Regardless of the offside and the so called red card, we started like a pub team and Huddersfield haven't been much better and our crowd/personnel have done fu@k all to gee the Vic up. At this moment in time I pray that someone in our dressing room is smashing it up. Think we need Gray for his pace and energy, not his goals!

 

I can see why on principle the club stood firm on not letting Silva go, but sometimes taking the moral ground costs you big time.

I wouldn't entirely blame the players here as anyone's motivation is reduced when you are working for a boss who doesn't want to be there.

I think we have seen the last game Deeney will wear our shirt. Hopefully Silva will go with him.

 

Wait til Doucoure gets his second yellow.

Prepare for meltdown.

 

COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

Get some players in that can defend/not get sent off.
Some coaches that can teach a team to defend and show discipline.
(Maybe) a manager that could say no to another team.
Some flair players who show their class rather than flatter to deceive.
And some strikers that actually score.
And finally a captain who doesn’t place himself above the rest of the squad.

Football teams lose games. But certain performances can’t be tolerated and this falls squarely at the top of any list like that.
