Capoe hasn't done much wrong this season whenever he's been given the chance. Happy enough with that. Good to see Watson on the bench too.
Swansea fans up in arms at their team selection. Must be good news for us then. A quick look at their team sheet and it looks like they are going 5 at the back at home. Swansea fans flipping out on Clement on twitter for playing a 5-3-2. Hopefully it does backfire and isn't a tactical masterstroke. I do fancy Richarlison vs Naughton and Carrillo vs Olsson, can't see those two nullifying them all game. 3 CB's to deal with Gray though, it is going to be a tough day for Gray again, his movement has to spot on to get anything against 3 CB's
Good performance for 35 minutes there then lost our way a bit. Gray scored a good poacher's goal but has missed 3 other gilt-edged opportunities. Kiko looks great - his pass to himself as he ran past his man after about 20 minutes was top class. Doucoure fine but the yellow in injury time seemed completely unnecessary. The sustained foul earned it and I'm not sure the position of Fer really merited it. Gomes has been coming well for high balls, which is all Swansea seem to offer. They're very cute at winning free kicks about 35-40yds out but so far only 1 has resulted in a dangerous situation. I don't think I can remember a home crowd so hostile against their own team so early in a match for a long time. Hopefully Silva gets hold of our team at half time and we come out and put Swansea to bed.
