This is your seer. It is a sad day in our village - RIP Otter. I am not going to play mind games waiting for the wolf to post as Day 1 is always tricky. The first viewing is always random so I decided to view a traditionally active player to see if they are a force for good or evil. The player in question is NorwayHornet who is GOOD. Sorry this doesn't help much regarding who to lynch but it was always unlikely that we would find an evil player this early.

Hey guys,

Decided to view Diamond as he's very experienced and if not killed off early will be useful to whichever side he is on. I can confirm he is in fact GOOD.

This must mean the first message is from the wolf so I'd suggest voting Norway or someone who's played the game more than once as the message appears to be from an experienced player.

Afternoon Villagers,

This is your seer. Sorry for the delay. It is another sad day in our village - RIP Diamond and Chutlhu. Day one was tricky, as it always is. Hopefully things will become a little clearer today. I wrote the first message yesterday and I viewed NorwayHornet who is GOOD. Today, I decided to view one of the quieter players who has had the finger of suspicion pointed at him. I viewed Daft Row, who is also GOOD.
Steer clear of danger everyone.

After my **** up yesterday I decided to keep it simple and view Daft Row who few have had suspicions on and I can confirm he is in fact EVIL.

Morning Villagers,

This is your seer. I thought I would get a message out nice and early today. It is another sad day in our village - RIP SLB. Although also thank you to the wolf as it gave me my final clue. I viewed NorwayHornet on Day 1 who is GOOD and Daft Row on Day two who was GOOD. I viewed today's villager as I have been suspicious of him for a while and I thought he may have killed SLB to frame another player. The villager in question is Moog and he is indeed EVIL. As the wolf would say, Jackpot!

With not much else to go on, I've decided to view Harrow Orn as he's had the tendency to throw random accusations around without basing them on logic and I can confirm he is EVIL. I said Daft Row was good and the wolf knows that hence the copied message style today. Don't fall for it.

What I find interesting is that one style of message has the 2nd sentence following "It is another sad day in our village - RIP X" which called out Norway as Good, Daft Row as Good and now Harrow Orn as Evil. (Except for Day 2 which was where only 1 message acknowledged it, which was the one from the Seer) The other style of message is more inconsistent within itself. Even the 1st Message today uses it as the 3rd sentence and not the 2nd and additionally the "Hey Guys" is now gone, indicating that was the Wolf messages.

Therefore, I believe Message 1 of Day 1 is the Seer, Message 1 of Day 2 is the Seer and Message 2 of Day 3 is the Seer, therefore concluding Moog is Good and Harrow Orn is Evil.

 

Just a had a quick re-look of the rules, fairly convinced the Wolves know one another now - so either Moog or Harrow Orn know who their fellow Wolf is. Not much use now, but it will be helpful tomorrow when we see who stuck up for who during the day - I imagine you'd have to be a pretty brazen Beta Wolf to throw accusation at the Alpha Wolf whilst it's still up in the air.

 

I don't follow the logic. Is this because of the narrative last night/this morning?

In the past, haven't the wolves needed to target the same kill to meet each other and find each other? I am not sure that is what the narrative was about.

 

Good grief. I think I give up.

 

That's my understanding based on having read through previous games. This scenario is new to me as it hasn't occurred over a kill.

 

This will be my last post of the day.

Vote me out today. Vote Moog off tomorrow. Then our seer can look at those who got it all so horribly wrong today.

 

Why did you protect HH24?

 

It was odd the way he attacked you, with zero reason, yesterday.

 

Ah right, well that blows my theory out of the water - although it does sound like the wolf met someone last night so either way the wolf knows someone from team evil.

I'm guessing a new role?

 

That's what I'm thinking, in the same way the Harlot was a new role last game that wasn't announced until discovered.

 

I like the reasoning PJ , however most had agreed seer message 1 days 1&2 Wolf would have to be stupid to use Hey Guys a third time , so If message 2 was seer (and I think it is) why leave it much later to give us a message . If Harrow is the Guardian why protect HH24 what did he pick up on ,because i have just gone throught HH24s posts yesterday and am none the wiser.

 

Moog and Harrow are very astute and clever players if either was a wolf neither would have done the 2nd messages on day 1 & 2 I have an awful feeling that maybe Harrow and Moog are both telling the truth, thus Harrow is Guardian and Moog is the tinker .

 

I know I said I wouldn't post again but to be clear I am not telling you why I protected HH.

If message 1 on first two days is the seer then look at this:

Day 1: Stay Safe Everyone.
Day 2: Steer clear of danger everyone.

First message of today:

Day 3: Seek Rectitude Everyone.

That is all.

 

The ending is inconsistent, fair comment. Didn't spot that.

 

Reason why is for me the 1st message today was a Wolf trying to lend that message some additional weight compared to the later one precisely because people would believe that one first due to the belief that the early messages are more beneficial, which as a principal I generally agree with myself.

 

Neither could be the alpha message sender so don't let that mix you up.

Alpha, Beta and sometimes Gamma Wolves. An Alpha wolf is responsible for sending one of the two messages per day to aid Evil in their cause. Should we nab an Alpha wolf, the Beta wolf quietly takes over messaging and after that the Gamma wolf where applicable.

 

Quite, but one being the Guardian and the other being the tinker presumably eliminates either from being any Greek letter you wish to precede Wolf?
