DAY 3 - Werewolf 2018

They'd just strung up the man they thought was evil, but yet again they were proven wrong, very wrong. Everyone left the village square in a sombre mood, no one dare go to the pub after the horrible discovery of cthulhu's body that morning. As he headed home Steve Leo Beleck suddenly realised that he hadn't locked up his Veterinary Clinic. As he entered the building he heard someone shuffling around in the store cupboard. He went to investigate, and saw a fellow villager, "Phew, you almost had me there mate. Is there anything I can help you with?",
His neighbour replied, "I'm looking for medicine for worms, the itching is unbearable."
Steve looked perplexed, "I only have antiworm pills for dogs." he explained,
"Oh. Don't they work on other animals?".
Steve thought for a second, "Only other canine related animals."
"PERFECT! You're a life saver!" he grinned.
"But you don't have a dog, do you?"
"No it's for my split personality."
"Have you been in Cthulhu's pub and had too much to drink?"
"Yeah, I was there last night! I had the breath of death this morning"
Steve was confused, "Anyway the sun has set, we'd better stay in the clinic for the night for our own safety, can you switch of the lights please?"
"I would but my claws make it difficult to turn the dimmer switch."
The wolf took a few swipes at Steve Leo Beleck, his head was ripped from his body and thrown into the bin.

Steve Leo Beleck was GOOD.

In another part of the village, another furtive creature had found the true target. As he climbed over the fence of the house it muttered to itself, this house was different to any other in the village, this target was not going to need a vicious attack, this needed something more refined. The clever wolf knocked on the door. After a few seconds the occupant opened the door and saw the filthy beast standing in front of them; without showing any fear the occupant ushered the wolf in and said, "You didn't eat last night, you must be hungry?".
The snarling wolf nodded and was led to the kitchen where the remains of Daft Row and Diamond were laid out on the table. After a few minutes the wolf finished his meal and then turned to the occupant and pointed at him, then at the clock on the wall. The occupant then asked, "I suppose my time has come?" Again the wolf nodded, the wolf then raised a claw, cut himself on his arm to draw some black blood. Then in a calm and measured manner the wolf stretched out his claw to the occupant who voraciously licked the blood from the wolf's claw. The wolf looked into the occupant's eye, nodded one more time and left the house.

Meanwhile, nearby the guardian sat outside of HappyHornet24's house, no one showed up.

Does that mean that we have a 3rd wolf ?

If so then it means that those we knew that were good, Norway, Meh can no longer be taken for granted

RIP DR and SLB. Not surprised he was Good and SLB. Trying to get my head around the 2nd scene. That's completely new to me. Norway maybe not but Meh is Good, WaS.

 

RIP SLB wtf is the write about ? whats that about the worming pills is that a clue ? If so I dont get it . the second scene is WAS right ? Is there another explanation .
I thought we only got more wolves if there was a blue moon . I am totally confused .

 

Could it be a Beta Wolf was inactive? Only seen one kill by a Wolf per night so far so it could be Otter choice perhaps to introduce another one? Simply don't know.

Morning Villagers,

This is your seer. I thought I would get a message out nice and early today. It is another sad day in our village - RIP SLB. Although also thank you to the wolf as it gave me my final clue. I viewed NorwayHornet on Day 1 who is GOOD and Daft Row on Day two who was GOOD. I viewed today's villager as I have been suspicious of him for a while and I thought he may have killed SLB to frame another player. The villager in question is Moog and he is indeed EVIL. As the wolf would say, Jackpot!

What on earth? It does read like wolf 2 turned a villager into a wolf 3? And that wolf 3 could be anyone who was declared good previously?

 

great to get an early message, but after we made so much about writing styles yesterday I wouldn't take anything for granted

Otters write up describes the wolves going for the same person. They now who who each other are and will be working together, so we need to look out for that.

The message above to me looks like a knock off of the first day (I bet both styles will now converge) and I think we need to wait for the second message.

 

Morning all.

Only 1 kill. Result for us but weird outcome for the second kill. Will have to think about that one and look into other rolls.

If the wolf chose the traitor then would that scene play out like that?

Anyone else think the wolf screwed up yesterday by calling daft evil, so helping us out? Daft was already on the radar and if the wolf has called him good too then we'd still be in the dark over all the messages and over Norway.

 

I'm not sure about them knowing each other. To my mind it looks like a villager was chosen to be a Wolf and this was Otter's way of writing given the blood letting whatnot. That said the Wolf would be dealing with them face to face so maybe your right re: identity. Not good regardless.

 

The obvious conclusion in the write up is we have a 3rd wolf , however assuming the obvious in this game is usually wrong !
Todays first message was pretty quick off the mark , general concensus yesterday was on days 1 & 2 the 1st message was the seer , so maybe the wolf set his alarm clock earlier and has copied the seers style and jumped in first .Does that sound reasonable? Thus framing Moog and conning us to kill another good player .

 

They definitely know each other. Hence them being together and nodding.

However maybe they didn’t select the same victim as Otter specifically says ‘in another part of the village’ to the murder.

 

So the third wolf has decided not to bother on 2 nights?

I think it's maybe the traitor as I said above. And I don't think he was turned, so is still the traitor. Just worships the wolves so they let him drink from them.

 

If we had a third wolf then the second would have made a kill, surely? I don’t think it’s that.

My guess is that the second wolf has some sort of ability to learn the identity of the alpha, maybe by sacrificing a kill.

 

I'm confused over the guardians choices.
Will have to read day 2 to see why.

My feeling about the early message was that the wolf was trying to get in first so I'm suspicious about that. And I didn't think moog was evil but I guess who knows.

As for this 3rd wolf and whether it's the traitor or not, we can't presume anything but is frustrating.

I'll be on and off here today. Have a funeral later but I'll be able to read some posts whilst at work before and after it.

Morning all - haven't had a chance to read through last night's on goings yet but will look a bit closer when I get some time in a couple of hours.

 

Time for me to walk the dog and try and get my head around whats happening ?

 

Or they just visited the same person and therefore learned of eachothers identities.

Im suspicious of Moog but obviously need a second message before going any further.

Domthehornet is being strange though. Little bit wary of him.

That's the thing, accusations are useful. You get reactions from them which can help solve the game. You haven't really thrown any out.

Anyone appearing to be scared of confrontation are suspicious to me. Trying to hide under the radar.
