    My my!
What a mob of dismal Jimmys we are!
I must confess to being amongst the doom mongers, here is my predicted line up:
    Walker
    Welbourne,Williams,Eddy,Lees,Walley.
    Scullion,Garbett,Endean,Gray/Deeney.
    What? Only 10?
Well, start as you mean to go on!
I have resorted to preparing libations to Nemesis and the Furies to exact revenge for Tuesday's apocalypse. In addition I have a second to offer to Nike in the hope that we may salvage a point*.
Huddersfield is very pleasant,we played a National Club League match there in the '90s.
    * I don't think there is a Greek deity for draws.

    'Anoia':
Goddess of Things That Get Stuck in Drawers, a minor goddess on the Discworld. When someone rattles a drawer and cries "How can it close on the damned thing but not open with it? Who bought this? Do we ever use it?", even though the person might be genuinely irritated or even exasperated, it is as praise unto Anoia. Faithful Anoians (worshippers of Anoia) purposefully rattle their drawers and complain every day. Anoia also finds objects that roll under other objects and things stuck in sofa cushions, and is considering handling stuck zippers. She eats corkscrews.
    From Terry Pratchett.
Probably not what you had in mind.

The good news despite the fact that we’ll very likely lose, is that Capoue will definitely be on the Soccer AM show boat montage for a quadruple nutmeg all contained within the centre circle.

I miss read at first and thought you meant he was on soccer am so wouldn’t be available to play -which would indeed have been good news

    She sounds ideal.
Can she play the Chalobah/Hughes/Cleverley/insert injured or suspended player of your choice here.

From what little I know about this quite likely to be a one off but further attacks possible especially after even minor injuries or stress.

No pace in our team without Deeney starting.

    Sad.

We'll have a lot of the ball. Play three at the back which will allow the wing backs to push up into attack. Janmaat and Holebas overlapping while Carrillo, Pereyra and Doucoure thread it through for Gray to shank wide. Lovely stuff. 3-0 to the 'Orns.

Doucoure has to avoid getting a single yellow card for each of the next four matches to escape the threat of a ban. Although he might have had his least effective game for us against Palace, I shudder to think what we would be like without him, especially whilst Chalobah and Hughes are out. If he's got any input, it'd be best to get it against Huddersfield, to serve at Brighton, or Leicester, to serve against Swansea.

Then again, we had him on the pitch against arguably the worst team in the league and conceded 2 in 10 minutes to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, so who knows eh.

They haven't scored away since the opening game and thus haven't won. With our injuries and suspensions they couldn't hope to play us at a better time to break that record. Have told everyone who has a betting account to get on it lump on a home defeat.

However I am hoping that for once we will get a decent ref and have some luck in front of goal. With the injuries etc I would play Deeney and Gray (as he hates Okaka) together as a front 2. In fairness to both they have played their best football with a partner like Deeney or Gray...

Cant play Watson as much as Capoue slows it down him and Doucoure would be a lot better in midfield. Praying one of Pereya and Richardlison are fit to play. Not that they have set the world alight in the last couple of games.

Dont care how we win as long as we do...time to be a little more ugly and grind a few results.

I presume Pereyra, Richarlison and Kiko are doubts. I expect one of Rich/Peyreyra will still be playing, though not fit and and will therefore make their situation worse.

I also expect injuries to Doucoure, Gomes and Carillo, but not Deeney or Gray because those useless ****s are bulletproof.

Throw the game. Give Doucoure, Rich, Pereyra, Kiko all a rest and let's have everyone near 100% ready for the xmas run-in.

How I'd set us up. This assumes Richarlison, Femenia are crocked and Okaka still frozen out.

Cleverley is out for the game. 2 Yellows. If you wanted a weaker team you could use Mason at LB too.

We've appealed it m8. If the club have appealed, they clearly think it'll be overturned, irrespective of the rules.

    Wagner praises Watford
Watford v Huddersfield (Sat, 15:00 GMT)

While we've been away, Huddersfield's David Wagner has stolen a march on us and already faced the media ahead of his side's trip to Watford.

"We will make it difficult for them," he vows. "Our first focus is that we perform at our best and then we will see what we can do"

"Outside the big six, I think Watford and Leicester are the best. They have speed, size, creativity; they are a proper Premier League team.

"This changes nothing for us though; we want to go there and win!”

DM saying Richarlison passed fit for tomorrow.

So despite all the injuries and suspension , we still have a decent starting XI.

Heres hoping Capoue plays his '1 in 10 good games per season ' tomorrow.

My word, those line ups! Do you think Capoue can do a job as an anchor man ? We won't change our formation, we are going to miss Clevs as he makes the ball do the work..Capoue or Watson have to move the ball quickly and it can perhaps end up with AD in a more defensive role. If BW or EC dwindle to much on the ball and slow our attacks down, then we will not score
