Adidas - Technical Partner Of Watford FC

Wasn't sure it was possible to feel better about switching to Adidas, but I guess now I know that it was.

 

Could've been much worse. If Dryworld had merged with Errea for us and QPR to wear DryErrea next season....

 

Would have fit very well indeed as long as they retained Dryworld's logo.

 

Would like to propose a campaign to bring back red shorts next season in memory of GT

 

Won't happen under the Pozzo's as they are clearly branding us as black and yellow going forward, thankfully.

Not that I don't think we should honour the great man of course, but there are far better ways.

Got to be a statue in my opinion.

 

I just think for a season it would be fantastic gesture, a % of sales going towards a charity of the familly's choice. It was he who pushed for red shorts...

 

Nothing to stop the club making a gesture of such nature regardless of the colour of our shorts!

 

According to the fishal website Bet138 are moving from the front of our shirt for next season to the sleeve. That's a new advertising spot for sponsors in the Premier League as of 17/18. Also means we'll have a new company on the front.

 

What a surprise, more sell outs by the Prem. Kits will look like this soon

 

Watford have got a new main sponsor lined up but it dependent that we stay in the premier league

 

One thing I liked about premier league rules is that you are only allowed one sponsor, only a matter of time before the kits start looking like rugby league tops

About the slogan - I think you've made a mistake. Wouldn't it be far more accurate (in the both literal and figurative senses):

Next season's Ipswich Adidas kit was on Soccer am.

Looked quite bland.

 

I saw that too - not overly impressed - looked like a stock plain design template - swap blue for yellow and white for black and that's us I suspect

 

Would take a yellow version of it though, be much nicer than anything we've had for years

 

17/18 kit will be quite bland, bar the colour of the away kit.
Was too late for the club to have any input.

18/19 kits have already been agreed and signed off, with the heavy input from the club.

That without the middle band and in yellow and black would be fine. Simple but classy enough.

 

Oh, and it's that time of year again where I pray we stick to black shorts and don't end up looking like a team of Ronald McDonald's. Lots of red with yellow just does not look good.

These have been my favourite concept kits so far

 

Quite agree, loved the GT era, and all the success, but one thing I did not like, was introducing all that red to our yellow and black strip.
Did not like it then, and would not like it now.

 

I can see where they were going with that.. another Boro retro kit following their famous 'band' strip of the 70's. Only they seemed to have used it as an excuse to enlarge the sponsors name. Not good.

PS I always thought their Ramsdens sponsor was the fish & chips people.. as it comes from up that way. But apparently it's a pawn brokers and money lender.

 

Anybody actually know the date it will be unveiled? Keep hearing rumours that the delay is because of confirmation of a main sponsor, but other people have said that's not true. Just give us at least an approximate date!!
