A reliable source within the club has informed me that it will be at some point between now and the beginning of next season. Whatever happens though, we will have at least 2 kits, and the home strip will be predominantly yellow. As for the away, it could be red/black/blue/white or another colour entirely.

A white or black second strip again would be boring. I also like the blue mock-up but would not object to something different. The violet one Real Madrid wore tonight in Cardiff or Florentina style looks cool. Also a third kit with stripes is fine red/ black or white/ black as per two years ago. The only thing we really know is that the quality will be much better. COYHs.

How about doing what Norwich did a couple of seasons back, they wore the same colours, but reversed them, ie green shirt yellow shorts, so ours would be black shirts yellow shorts.

No, because that defeats the point of an away kit. An away kit should be colours that are totally different that of your home kit.

I thought the original idea was that your shirt and shorts did not clash with the home side's.
In the old days teams only changed to the away strip if there was a clash. There was no such thing as a home kit, it was the teams colours, and where always played in unless the home side had the same or similar strip. Wolves Oxford etc.
Would like to see us play in our normal colours all the time. No need to have an away strip this season, unless perhaps in the cup, in which case why not just keep the away strip we already have. Probably a marketing ploy, to get more money out of the fans, but then why not, if the fans want to buy the kit, and the club make some money, then fair do's.

Yes I just about remember them playing in blue, as a kid.
I remember, when we first had the new floodlights we played some friendly matches against European teams.

That green kit was truly awful...

Hate this. Changing kit away to teams who play in blue like we have done this season is just stupid. In fact we've changed a few times into a kit that clashes more than our home kit would! I'm thinking West Ham, Burnley, Everton... Games where both sides ended up wearing white shorts.

White Shirt, Black shorts, just like the ones we had in the 80's. The Solvite away kit from 85-88 ish was particularly splendid. If they had black shorts we'd have to revert to red home ones.

I'd like us to go with the ugliest possible kit filled completely with logo's of betting companies and Middle Eastern airlines so much so that there is barely any colour of yellow left just so we can be labelled as "everything wrong with football"

I guess most of you will know the Prem bosses have allowed more than one shirt sponsor from this season.
I hope we dont end up with a situation like they have here in Scandinavia, where you can hardly see the design of the kit beneath the adverts!

Back in the 70s and 60s when everyone seemed to play in a variation of grey it must have been massively confusing ?

I wouldn't mind as much if the logos were half decent looking and complimented the colours & design of the kit. The Happy egg co. springs to mind as I write this :D

In the past we have had some sponsors where the name/logo fits nicely, like IVECO, TOSHIBA, Total to name a few. And some awful ones like RCI and Phones4u.

Quite like the yellow and black kit in the photo though, would not mind that design for us.

Or we could go all out Fluminese with their supermarket sponsors and replace players' names with products on offer and use the numbers to advertise the price.

I mean, we know that we had no hand in designing it because it was switched too late, for obvious reasons, for this season. We shouldn't get our hopes up for a groundbreaking piece of design, the simple fact of it being an adidas kit is exciting enough. For me, at least, that is.
