5th best, having lost 3 of the last 4.

We won 5 and drew 1 of our first 6 home games, Jog-on was of course not manager then.

Our home record is Sannino's doing.

There's no problem with heart or desire. There certainly wasn't against Reading and there wasn't tonight. It genuinely pisses me off that whenever we lose, it's about twaddle like 'caring for the club' rather than just losing a game to a similar team with a good gameplan that didn't allow us to get into any rhythm.

You could even stick the revered John Eustace in the middle of the pitch. Guess what? Deeney and Vydra would still be closed down out of the game. Van la Parra would have still skinned Abdi. Iorfa would still have Anya in his back pocket.

We were beaten by a better team who played the absolute perfect game against us. We responded well and could have scored but didn't. It happens, and it's nothing to do with the lack of some magical ****ing energy that allows our players to win games.

Acting like a rock star? Didn't he come 3rd in the voting for POTS last year? He's a decent player who struggles against pacy wingers. Good enough for back-up or starting sporadically for a Championship side.

However, we need at least 1 new wing-back. Anya has been poor for 90% of the season and Paredes is regressing. Dyer is a **** ****. Personally wouldn't mind a return for Faraoni in January.

Joka needs to go, but there also needs to be a change in the coaching structure, because this Udinese continental model does not work for our club.

It depends if our owners want Watford to be successful or just a shop window cum rehab ground for their udinese fringe players. we don't need a head coach. We need a manager.

Lets remove the whole idea of managers or head coaches and instead have a voting 'clicker' installed in each seat.

Normally I would totally disagree with anybody calling for a managers head after a few games - especially after our turbulent season to date - but I've never seen a watford manager who inspires me less than Joka.

His job is to pick the right formation and inspire the players to play to their maximum ability. He's failing

We will beat sides who give us space and time but it's not hard to beat us. The ball at the back always goes through Tozer so harass him, somebody man mark Abdi and keep niggling Vydra because his head will go down quickly, then hit long balls into the Watford box and be ready to pick up the second ball when the 3 man defence goes into panic mode

    List our professional failings here

We were extraordinarily inept today and many of the issues were failures not of ability, but simple ones of professionalism.

I'll kick off with the failure on several occasions in recent games to mark the free player at opposition short corners.

I'll go with giving away possession at throw ins simply by throwing the ball straight to an opposition player. With no Watford player within 5 yards of them....Paredes I'm looking at you mate.

    I disagree.

Graham Taylor to host 'The Apprentice - Watford', where 12 budding fans have the chance to pass various tasks in order to win the Head Coach role.

As part of this, their 'business plan' will be a tactical layout which must include a 'plan B', 'Chalobah role' and which part of their face they will repeatedly touch during games.

Taylor's helpers to be Dave Bassett and former Watford star Devon White.

    Can someone please summarise?

Seriously, I'm not even annoyed about today. I usually am, but I saw it coming. I knew we'd lose because quite simply we just ain't good enough!

If Lloyd Doyley was a dog he would have been put down this evening.

The bloke is a absolute clown. He is a calamity waiting to happen and the only reason people still refute this is because they are happy clappy Watford fans who sum it up perfectly when they shout "shoot" everytime he gets on the ball. Why? Because it's all just one big joke with him.

I'm thoroughly looking forward to his retirement.

Haha you totally misunderstand me. I never said we should be in the top 2. I implied the division was cr@p and our position is false. We are going nowhere, we will not go up. We won our last 3, but got lucky at Reading, Fulham had a man sent off in the 5-0 (who knows the result if they hadn't), and we were dire against Wigan and Deeney saved us (like Abdi's strike did at Reading). This is true. Also what is true is we lost 4 on the bounce before then. Just face up to real life, I have seen it all before, we will not get promoted, end of.

If I am wrong, then I am very happy to be, but I won't be wrong.

Based on the comments I hear at games, that would end up with us playing a 442 full of the academy players

No need to be so harsh is there?? Ok you don't like him but he's a top bloke off the pitch and various managers have deemed him valuable enough to have in the squad for over a decade. That's some going in modern day football.

Vydra leaving the game as slowly as he played it when subbed.

Does anyone get the feeling that when we have a corner, the opposition are more likely to break away and score than we are from the actual corner?

Doyley in the last 15 mins was our best midfielder apart from that Palace bloke.
So we lost. We were outplayed in difficult conditions. I think a lot of people got socks for Xmas here.

1- Our head coach and his ex Brighton Spanish coaches were outthought and out coached so far by the staff of Middlesborough, Birmingham City, Ipswich Town, Derby County, Reading (even though we got away with that) and now Kenny Jackett of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
I conclude our scouts are pants or simply that the coaching team don't learn or listen or know how to best set up our team.

2- Our players consistently ignore or fail to see the runs and feints of our strikers. This had seemingly so demoralized Matej Vydra that he is playing like his agent has told him there's a transfer window coming up.

3- Someone has told the newer players to play s-l-o-w-l-y and cautiously, but they still give the ball away too cheaply. The others have forgotten or are too scared to play the fast tempo passing that has been the hallmark of previous successful attacking play.

4- Mighty Royston and Fulham were put to the sword with the lucky red shorts. Some clump has reverted to dull black shorts.

If dropping Guedioura after his MoM performance at Reading is more rotational nonsense - Joka should be fired immediately. How many more points do we have to lose through ignoring the basic Championship rule that you play your strongest starting XI, unless there are real extenuating circumstances. If we as fans can see this, why does it take highly paid managers so long to figure it out?

No passion, no drive and quite simply NO CLUE!

He certainly wasn't my MOTM. About a week ago Munari, Toszer & Abdi was a revelation according to some. One good performance from Guedioura doesn't change that. Our best 3 is easily the aforementioned, Munari is the better player.

I have to say I agree. This is the issue because it's putting off potential top drawer managers who would probably come here, add a couple of talented English players and take this squad up. And I'm talking about the likes of those managing the teams above us. Listening to Talksport earlier, it's the same reason they've ended up with Alan Irvine, prepared to work with a director of football, rather than a better qualified manager.

It is getting embarrassing now and almost disgusting that he gets another go ahead of someone like Tommie Hoban who has more talent than Doyley has ever had. It's unacceptable to have players in a promotion challenging side that can't control a long ball.

Pudil I don't get the criticism of, he should be playing. Doyley has to be put down now, God bless him.
