It's as though they've given her carte blanche to waltz to the final. Actually, I say judges, it was Simon, who with his evil grin, chose to dash a teenage boy's dreams, just to build some tension. What a ****.

Katie is a ****ing manipulative, evil *****. Did you see her yesterday using the Pride of Britain awards as a vote winner? Aiden clearly didn't want to hold her hand, as everyone in the house hates her.

Simon obviously thinks the added publicity from something like this is good for Xfactor's ratings. Now I hope it backfires. Wagner to win it.

Well that's my opinion shot to sh*t then. Luckily, when the final 2 were announced the odds on Aiden on Betfair shot up to 6's, so I put £3 on him to hedge my bets somewhat, so £9 down instead of £27 :dismay:.

I shall stick to Eurovision betting from now on.

When Cowell was deliberating I thought about what Moog said regarding him buying Katie out of her contract to appear in the finals. With that in mind it was pretty poor acting by the high waisted millionaire.

 

I know this sounds self serving but i brought the bit about the contract to the discussion and it was proved again tonight.

I have a 13 year old now genuinely bawling her eyes out and feel helpless.

I didn't notice it, although one of the singers (the female one) was off key for one of the dances (Kara's I think).

Yesterday's show:

One Direction - their best performance to date
Cher - She needs to ditch the affectations and she could be a decent singer, but as a pop/rap star, one can see her being more commercially successful, even if it is annoying to the mature ear.
Paije - he's a victim of bad staging and costumes. Vocally, he's one of the best
Matt - worst showing to date. Corny and that vest made him look like a Polish fruit picker
Rebecca - So dull. Her voice is nice, but as a commercial recording artist, can she be anything more than a one album wonder of jazz cover versions?
Katie - looks like an evil elf. Nothing wrong with her singing performance, but her voice, whilst pleasantly husky, lacks range and power.
Mary - Decent return to form for her. Will be getting all the fat, middle aged and Irish votes once again
Wagner - bad press this week. Could well be on his way out.

Anyone who thinks Paije was good needs a hearing test. I'm not advocating Cher, but Paije's voice is what I imagine human torture to sound like.

 

Judging by the picture you are displaying, you are probably one of the Bozzos who are keeping Wagner on the program, I guess the motive is to upset Cowell, but if you don't like the program don't mess it up for others, just don't watch it!!!

As for the show, it was right to keep Cher, and Paige should not have gone either. Everyone knows who should be gone and quite frankly once he is gone I personally think the plastic band should be next, though that is very unlikely thanks to Cowell continually hyping them up and all the silly little girls swooning over them!!!

If we could get rid of those two "ACTS" , it would then be down to the serious contenders IMO

 

The bits in blue are why I'm delighted to see Wagner carry on to win this thing. I really think now that the end is close that momentum will grow. Did you see the look on Cheryl Cole's face when he was put through? Priceless.

 

I vote for wagner cos it's priceless seeing all their faces. Katie needs to go and so does Cher. One direction are just manufactured rubbish and cheryl's criticism of wagner on saturday was out of order. WAGNER TO WIN.

Cheryl was bang out of order. Wagner has been nothing but a gentleman on screen. It's not his fault that he's terrible at singing and that everyone voted for him.

Cheryl is rude to him every week and then gets on her high horse about alleged comments, which even if true are not wide of the mark.

She made an ass of herself. She could have spoken to Wagner in private at any time, to discuss the comments and their context. She should know well enough how the English media work and how they obtain this kind of story and that there would be a fairly good chance of the quotes not being 100% accurate.

She showed a distinct lack of class, whilst Wagner showed dignity on camera, regardless of what he may or may not have said off guard to a covert journo.

 

Totally agree. She has a real vendetta against him.

 

She was trying to get people to stop voting for him by showing him up as being rude to people on council estates. Given his reply and the fact he is still there, it didn't work. Thought she was wrong to do that and it made her look bad.

Whilst I don't like the fact he is still there because he can't sing, I don't have anything against the guy and there is no need for some of the comments that he gets.

 

I always watch the first 5 mins or so of the Xtra Factor as they have the reactions etc, Matt called it a joke and was looking at Wagner at the time. Wagner has as much to be on that show as anybody else, good luck to him. I think the whole vote Wagner thing is a backlash to Katie and the fact she is signed to Sony BMG but this never gets mentioned, plus the whole episode of two weeks ago with Cheryl not voting. Fact it is ******* alot of people off who take the x factor way to seriously is also a delight.

 

Matt was the only one that didnt look out of place during the duets. I think One Direction will win though purely down to the teenage girl vote.

 

I thought Matt and Rebecca were ultra dull and looked awful in their duets. Cher was the best on here own, but her duet with Will I Am was under rehearsed and looked scrappy

I'd actually prefer to see Wand Erection win, as I'm bored to tears by Rebecca and Matt, neither of whom can be seriously, long term commercially succesful. They are both one trick ponies.

 

I promised not to tell , but Hand Erection is a cert. I tis fixed.
