Either way Adam Leventhal must be feeling the burn of Gino rejection seeing these Wobby stories coming out while he has to repost "told you Kiko was leaving" stories. Seems to have been completely sidelined.

How did Ranieri ever win the PL. He sounds like a joke of a manager.

 

Uncle Ron is going to have a field day reading that.

I’d take Gosling as captain. Rather have someone who is an ok player but gives a toss, than a good player that gives up and doesn’t give a toss.

 

Unflinchingly spot on review of last season. Fair play to him.

 

Glad it’s all been aired and some truths told.

Feels a bit like the interview that Duxbury did with Andrew French but with the handbrake off, full license to name name’s and pull no punches.

I think it’s time to look ahead now personally rather than keep looking back at the circus - obviously we all still have our questions about whether we are bringing elements of the circus into the ‘new era’ though re. recruitment etc.

I’d love the answers from Gino and Duxbury about just why they let that whole farce roll on last season. Their words this summer only answer the what, and not the how and why. But sadly, the time has passed and we won’t get those answers. So it’s time to park those questions and hope they won’t be needed again - but if the Edwards experiment goes wrong, then they will obviously reappear and rightly so.

One thing I will add before the forum goes into overdrive - I’ve been told by a number of people just how popular Sarr and Dennis are at the club and in the changing room. When Gosling talks of players giving up and those happy to not play at the end of last season, he really isn’t talking about them. Them not playing was a club decision, not a player decision. I suspect they were just as f*cked off with 5-a-sides from Ranieri and passionless leadership from Roy/Ray as the rest.

 

Sarr is liked at the club because he is very humble. Very quiet, not flashy at all. The hate he gets is because this is mistaken for grumpy bad attitude behaviour. He is very far from it.

 

This was the 2nd worst bit (after the players not caring about training for me) baffling that a PL team does 0 video analysis in this day and age.

 

Even more so when Duxbury loves to claim that we look to employ ‘best in class’ when it comes to support staff. I doubt ‘best in class’ video analysts were too happy at sitting around doing nothing.

 

Gosling definitely needs to start when we play Hull, the midfield battle could be feisty.

In all seriousness he sounds like he might make a good manager one day.
