It’s ok TVOR will watch the whole game back tomorrow and we won’t have been too bad.

Strange performance, started slowly, got the goal back, looked in charge for a bit then fell away, after that we were second best all over the pitch. Shipping 4 goals, (it was 4 when I turned it off) is just woeful and we regressed badly today after a good display away to Villa. Another nail in the coffin I'm afraid.

Thank god we managed to swap Hughes for Kucka. We'd have looked silly otherwise...
And praise be that Hodgson has tightened us up. Errrrrrr....

Tonight epitomises exactly why I think VR will be half empty come the end of the season. People won't put up with that for much longer. Laughable bunch of cowards who will no doubt be getting their social media teams to fire up the 'Sorry, you deserve better but we go again...' Instagram posts in minutes.

A joke of a club right now, from the top down.

What a tame performance. The whole team seemed nervous. The only time that we really seemed that we were trying to score was just after we conceded the first, but then as soon as we got it we went back in to our shell again.

Samir had a rough first few minutes which seemed to shake him, and he then spent the whole rest of the match only passing backwards and sideways.

Kamara had a mare for the second.

Cleverley was a passenger throughout, and we can't afford passengers at this level. There's a lack of alternatives in the squad though.

Why did Sarr always try and dribble infield in the first half in to traffic and on to his weaker left foot?

You have to say that Palace definitely didn't play like a team who hadn't won in 6 though. Even by the standards of opponents seeming to play unusually well against us they seemed annoyingly energetic and tough throughout. We were sluggish by contrast somehow. I don't remember Hughes playing so well for us either. Again, could just be that we're now so crap that he seems better.

Maybe the fans just weren't positive enough? There's little to be positive about now though. Sissoko seemed like he was crying as he was clapping the fans while walking off the pitch.

We're getting exactly what we deserve. Gino's circus has no redeeming features now, there's nothing positive about this football club at the moment. Utterly miserable.

This club, it's playing staff, the manager and the board are genuinely embarrassing.

How can anyone remain feeling connected to this soulless, spineless pile of identity lacking dross?

At least this kills of those that were banging on about, if we get 1.2 points on average per game between now and the end of season…blah, blah, blah. We’re going down because we’re ****. You can change the manager 900 times, but it doesn’t change that fact

That Will Hughes knows his stuff. He knew the truth, we’re a joke of a club on the pitch, in the stands and behind the scenes.

Maybe the club should setup another shirt giveaway to one of our loud (and grown adult) social media fans to take our minds off it all.

Truly an embarrassing performance in a season of embarrassing performances.

Into March and still half our wins and more than half our points at the Vic have come under a manager we sacked in early October.

Yup, as sure as night follows day, he picks up an innocuous looking knee injury and is then not seen for weeks. Hughes would not have saved us this season.

When we beat Utd, we will have acheived 1.5 points from 2 games. Or 2ppg from Villa to Utd... You Orns!

Tonight was perhaps the worst performance of the season in that 2nd half. Palace worked out we had no desire to get the ball, or do anything with it in possession. We just maintain a shape with and without the ball that's only difficult to play against if you are sloppy.

Utterley shambolic. We looked miles off the pace against what is an ordinary Palace side.

People will point to Burnley taking 8pts from their last 5 games but we don't have the grit and desire in our squad to go on that kind of run as evidenced tonight.

Dennis three decent chances. Failed to take any of them.

The changes were too slow to be made. And no stepping up of the press either. We played very well especially after equalizing and they had their tactical injury to break up momentum and we did not regain it. Stopped playing in Sarr and Dennis. And barely threatened in the second.

We are mentally fragile. Still no team psychologist and short of confidence which we had for a while after equalizing. We have some very good players who would excel in other sides with better players around them. Kamara, Louza for instance. People seem to attack players indiscriminately regardless of how they have played. Both did very well but limited passing options hampers Louza. Kamara over committed that once and was punished but also kept Olise in his pocket. In a more confident better side he would be raiding with regularity.

Big opportunity to build on the win wasted, more confidence knocked along with goal difference. Losing to the pathetic mob from south of the river does not help either not that POS scoring twice. A really dislikeable character. They have to keep playing and hoping but more and more I hope Gino is planning along with Cristiano a Championship squad to get us up again. We'll have a decent basis to work from but recruitment will be key with the expected departures of Dennis, Sarr and a few others. The first two for large sums I expect.

1-4 against that lot, and we were lucky to get the 1. It really does take the biscuit. Another pisspoor home game under Woy&Way. If we "perform" like this at home we will finish bottom.

Whilst I absolutely agree with the sentiment that none of this is on Hodgson - I'd sack him. And hire someone who will at least make games entertaining and try and keep some fans onboard.

Just limping along like we are has the ability to damage the club into next season potentially as the atmosphere will be dreadful around the place.

The patented Watford Wind Down remains undefeated.

It was mighty cold up in the SEJ, but at least we didn’t have to endure a full 90 of it, as we left as soon as the defence decided it was a great idea to give Zaha the freedom of our box to pick out a third right in front of us.

Think that’s pretty much it for us - another opportunity to capitalise utterly passed up, another mostly passive, limp, disorganised even though we’re so organised now display.

We don’t have anywhere near the quality, despite the one or two false dawns that send a few of us into a delirious head spin. Story of our season and us as a club for quite some time, really. Marvellous from start to finish.

That was absolutely pathetic. We were in the game at 1-1 but fair play their second was class. They deserved to lead, but Dennis could of scored with a good headed chance. I have been trying to find the good in King, but sorry, he may as well not been on the pitch. Second half is quite possibly some of the worst football i've seen us play at the Vic. Really, really bad. I would love to see Mooney pick the "highlights" out of that mess.

I'm sorry R&R - you may as well just retire now. We're practically relegated after that, and we totally deserve it. Burnley have more or less confirmed we will finish bottom - and that is where we will finish. Nobody out there deserved any praise. Sarr was back to his sulky best, we were blunt up top again and I dread to think what Roy said at HT. Certainly not go and concede two more goals? Also, do we have some fixation with the number 4? We have shipped 4 goals at home at least three times now. We just cannot play in front of our own fans. Something that was the total opposite last season. Yes, different league I know, but still - our home form is laughable.

    I just... I don't know after that.

Where do we go from here? Alright down yes, but it doesn't matter if we somehow beat Man Utd on Saturday, we cannot string two good performances together. Not once, all season. That is why we are where we are, and we all know that. Nobody wanted to take a chance on the three points tonight. We may as well of given Palace the win when they stepped off the coach. Defense back to it's awful form. Even Foster had a poor game. I guess all we can do now it wait until it's confirmed. Or pray for a miracle which will never come.
