In reality, it shows is that Palace scored many more goals than would be expected from the quality of their opportunities. That could be due to worse than average defending (e.g. Kiko turning his back on a shot, causing a deflection), poor keeping, good luck or better than average finishing. Given it is fairly rare that a side almost scores 4x its xG, I'd say a combination of all 4.
