I can’t even remember exactly what was said, but I remember also thinking it was just a joke.

Like you said, I knows it’s easy to say when you know who the traitors are, but essentially they have real trouble with separating the idea that traitors have to lie to them about being traitors, and the fact that doesn’t then translate into how they are as normal people. They seem to think someone being made a traitor means they’re automatically also then a rude and selfish person by nature, when in reality the nicest person in the world could be made a traitor, and even inherently nasty people could be a traitor, but would then go out of their way to mask that part of their personality anyway.

My first game I lasted 1 day.
My last game I viewed 3/3 evils!

Over time we all have very varied games though.

These cliff-hangers are becoming tiresome. So we're just about to find out who gets voted off from the round table when they end the episode. Do the producers forget that the very second people find out who is eliminated it'll be all over social media? Both my girls knew about the twist in episode 2 and when it happened they told me that was what they were being quiet about.

    It's pretty dumb IMO

I think the round table result should be known at the end of each episode, it's like our lynching in werewolf. For the kills we wait until the morning, that's fair enough to end an episode with.

Think there must be a case for our werewolf games to be dramatised surely? Only issue is who would play who

I was wondering last week whether the TV format would work on our game (minus the cash prize building tasks) and vice versa.

The TV format on our game would be some wolves who know each other from the beginning and PM each other and agree one kill per night but no seer messages. This wouldn't work as there would be nothing to work with during the days and the lynchings would be too random.

Our format on TV would be great, 3 'wolves' who don't know each other, a traitor, guardian and 2 messages per day. I think it would work, other than the fact that on here all thoughts are available to all whereas on TV little cliques develop and the full thought process wouldn't be shared so well.

  7. I've always thought one night werewolf would be interesting for us lot. I can no longer commit to a full game going on for a week or 2 due to work and kids but I could probably spare 4 hours in an afternoon/night to do a quick game.

It's pretty much the same game but squeezed into a few hours so lynchings and night phases are done every 30 minutes or so.

Could open up the shoutbox and everything for realtime chat, or get everyone on a zoom/teams call!

I think the traitors made a massive error putting two of themselves in the dungeon. Ash was already under heavy suspicion, the faithful knew from the outset that a traitor would have been in the dungeon.

If they put no traitors in the dungeon in the first place then everyone who'd been in there would have been under suspicion and it would have taken days to realise that, eventually it would have led to 4 banishments.

Paul has played well up until this point, I honestly don't know why he isn't pointing out that there was a traitor in there, namely Ash, and has been caught. Play on the fact that the traitors have been very clever in getting rid of Meg to create an air of suspicion against him.

I think Miles will be the last traitor standing, he has been ice cool throughout although Harry I thought looked ropey on day 1 has grown into the game well.

Because the editing so far is a car crash. There is literally 1 single person who suspects Paul and yet he is getting 30% of the round table air time. In last nights episode you didn't get to hear from 75% of the contestants so what we think they think is ridiculously skewed.

Once again, a decent program has been dumbed down to appeal to those who like love island. I expect lots more shouting in the next few episodes.

I’ve played a game which didn’t have any messages. A seer and an evil seer could find the status of one player a day and one player saw the status of everyone who had died.

Was quite fun when the game warmed up.

The dungeon is like being named in a message. Frames all the conversation and raises a huge spotlight on those sent there.

Clearly the best move was to put three strong faithful and Megan down there. Two traitors was an idiotic move.

Agree re: Paul, but maybe he is saying that and it’s being edited. I also think many more suspect him, but know he’ll deflect attention onto them and they’re willing to bide their time.

The traitors in the game get 1 kill a day irrespective of how many are left, so it pays to bide your time and pretend your on the side of the most powerful evil, unlike in our games.

Enjoying this series so far. Not going to talk specifically yet so as not to spoil anything for those catching up, but it’s bubbling up nicely.

The current traitors are all excellent choices although I think they’re going to turn against eachother very soon.

They made an excellent choice by asking Miles to join them at the outset. Paul was doing well until the stupid decision to put two traitors in the dungeon in episode 4, if it were me I'd have put no traitors in as Ash was already under massive suspicion she was toast anyway, the rest of the faithful would have taken 3 days of banishing those who'd been in the dungeon.

I think Miles was dropped in it a little by Harry and Paul for the murder in plain sight though, however I think he will last the distance.

I’m catching up so watching Thursday’s round table at the moment. Looks like the wrong person is heading for the chopping board. Can’t believe Paul is getting away with being in the dungeon and not getting murdered without being properly held to account (apart from Anthony and Jaz).
I watch this with my 17 yr old daughter and we both said that we would have put 4 faithfuls in the dungeon and included a couple whose names were being banded around. How on earth Ash let herself be persuaded to go in there…
Also, it’s annoying me that the faithfuls are still using whether or not they like someone’s character as a basis to suspect them. Zack himself was a victim of that a couple of episodes ago and yet he is doing exactly the same with Anthony now…

Haha - I’ve received an email thanking me for registering my interest in the next season of Traitors and inviting me to complete my application. Turns out my daughter has applied on my behalf. Imagine you’re all chatting on here about a particularly dim contestant and then they refer to being a Watford fan :D

I would apply but the ridiculous length of time they need for recording makes it prohibitive.

Excellent episode tonight, probably the best of the series so far.

Bubbling up very nicely, hoping for absolute carnage over the next few evenings.

It was very well done. The traitor was totally setup though, how did they ever expect them to get away with it?

What an idiotic mistake recruiting another traitor. I hope they say no.

Last night another decent episode, the cliffhanger at the end with the suggested kills I didn't fully understand.

    Of the two...
Zack is seen as erratic so makes no sense to kill him.
Charlie is worth keeping for the fact she was so upset not getting a shield that it may raise a suspicion why she's still alive.

I would have gone for Jasmine, she's quietly confident and seems popular, she won't get banished as things stand, there is pretty much zero suspicion of her so she would have been the obvious choice in my opinion.

    Last episode was very good.

The shield and recruitment will either win it at a canter or backfire so badly, (because of the Diane thing), that either one will lead to the next few episodes because being very good.

Definitely more drama in this series, and more interesting with the Traitors being more cut throat with each other as well.

Will be interesting to see how future seasons progress though, as people cotton on to how to play it, Jaz has been the cleverest faithful, but he’s played the game well by hiding his suspicions (as far as getting to the end is concerned) basically as a faithful you can’t be too loud or too accusatory to get far, so I wonder how that concept will affect things as they go on.

Would like to see them mix the challenges up, make it so the Traitors have to sabotage them somehow, or make a separate pot of cash for traitors or something.

Excellent series so far, this week has been superb.
I wonder whether the game would be played more differently if all players, dead/banished ones too, shared the final pot depending on which team they finish on won? I think the traitors obviously wouldn't have too much trouble of taking a banishment for the team, but recruitment may still be necessary if traitor numbers get too low too early

There was a series called “The Mole” where it was like this. The traitor - or “mole” - basically tries to sabotage the faithfuls’ money pot. The viewers don’t know who the mole is either so it’s quite a fun watch.

Caught up with Traitors this morning and agree with everyone’s comments above - this series has been highly entertaining. I hope the casting team carries on finding “normal” people as it makes it so much better than if it became full of wannabe tv “personalities”.
It’s so satisfying seeing a player like Jaz getting things right for the right reasons. I’d love him to go all the way, but can’t see it happening.
The latest recruitment could be very interesting - will he be “onside” or want revenge?
Also it occurred to me that, had the faithful recruited turned down the invite, it would have possibly put the heat on one of the traitors massively as it would have completely blown the “shield” bluff.
One last thought - I thought the traitors might have recruited…
one of the faithfuls who Harry had told he had the shield eg if they had recruited Jaz/Zack/Mollie and then Harry claimed he was spared because of the shield, those three would be viewed as most probably not traitors because they knew he had the shield and so would not have tried to murder him.

I agree @HappyHornet24 , I would have recruited Zack, particularly as Harry told him and Jaz about the shield.

I did wonder how that part will play out as part of his plan, he’s going to have to back them as faithfuls going forward now if they all buy the shield plan, because if he turns on them at any point and accuses of them of being traitors it won’t make any sense.

I'm out tonight so I won't be watching the final until tomorrow, however in case some people are not up to date the rest of this message is in a spoiler.

2 traitors and 3 faithfuls, how will this end?

The final round table will eliminate until they are certain they are free of traitors, I few scenarios.

    (1) Evie gets booted out leaving 2v2, Harry and Andrew nod to then oust Jaz giving them a 50/50 share.
    (2) Evie gets booted out leaving 2v2, Jaz & Molly suspect Andrew anyway, Harry would join in. They settle at banishing Andrew, then Harry takes the pot.
    (3) Andrew gets booted out, I don't see any way other than Harry taking the pot.
    (4) Jaz & Evie take on Harry, Andrew to join in. Andrew takes the pot if they settle at this point.
    (5) Jaz & Evie take on Harry, Andrew to join in. Molly, Jaz & Evie banish Andrew, faithfuls win.
    (6) Any other scenarios???

I think the faithfuls can only win if they banish Harry first, I really can't see this happening though. The most likely scenarios above are (2) & (3), I think Harry is far too greedy to want to share it with Andrew, however with both being military men Harry may well think brotherhood is more important so who knows.

    Any suggestions/thoughts before 9pm?

Agree with all those. I think (2) is the most likely. At this point my two favourites are
Jaz and Andrew but there’s obviously no scenario in which they can both win sadly. Of the two traitors, I would rather Andrew was left standing over Harry but can’t see it happening. It annoyed me that Ross effectively threw Andrew under the bus when he went. Ross was stupid agreeing to be recruited at that stage anyway. He was a pretty dumb faithful and an even dumber traitor.

The only thing that slightly irritates me about Traitors is that, invariably, if the faithfuls win it will include those who have not been the smartest in the game. They stay in the game for exactly that reason - because the Traitors know they won’t question them. Last year, the only reason the faithfuls won was because a traitor effectively threw the last remaining one under the bus when he was banished. The fact that Meryl - who, even after that was still too dumb to pick up on it - then walked off with a share of the prize money annoyed me. This year, I feel like that about
Mollie and her blind loyalty to Harry.Very pleased Jaz has made it to the final though - he has been very smart keeping quiet about his suspicions about Harry.
