But since he wants to play in the Premier League so much, if he's in any way good, he wouldn't want to play for us back in the Championship!

The Udinese fans complain that they give us too much attention, I simply think they just aren't rich enough to properly fund two top-flight clubs

Well I'd be surprised if he was that good.

However if he does have an amazing season and we get relegated, at least he has a long enough contract that we can get good money for him if he did want to leave.

I don't think they're ever going to sell Udinese, not entirely anyway. Hopefully they're seriously looking for investors here because they're clearly getting stretched way too thin over both clubs, even after hitting the PL jackpot with us 6 years ago.

You need pace to play that role, of which he seems to have little.

The myth that Zinckernagel doesn't have pace is bizarre.

Would be good if he showed it once or twice, for us. Shown decent footwork to sidestep a player on occasions, but can't remember many times where he's burned past a championship clogger

Bristol City, Barnsley and Rotherham off the top of my head. Plus watch the clips of him in Norway. I know it's not the same technical level over there but they're hardly invalids he's going past.

Not sure we saw it when he played last season, despite the list in your later post. My underlying impression whilst watching him was technically good with an eye for a pass, but as being a bit lacking in the requisite pace & physicality in the Champ, let alone the Prem.

Well he won’t be quicker than Sarr but might be faster as a wide man than Sema or one of the other midfielders moved out there ?

When was this? Yeah I saw the clips of him playing the equivalent of League 2 players in Norway, that's why I asked for examples for us

People believing one not good enough player is better than another not good enough player, has nothing to do with our deserving of actually good players. Nobody is saying that Cleverley is better than Sarr.

Zinckernagel was essentially another Jurado. A few good through balls, but mostly a lot of checking back, a lack of pace and too easily edged off the ball.

I’m very concerned about our lack of creativity. But Zinck is not the answer at the moment.

Neither is Gosling, but I reckon the latter works harder in training, is a better person to close a game out, is better in a relegation threatened dressing room, is more happy to sit on the bench and won’t lose market value doing so.

I hate our transfer business this window, but I reckon this one was a bit of a no brainer, as long as we plan to bring someone else in with a bit of creativity.

Can League Two level players not run fast then?

Of course they can? But their anticipation, body positioning and decision making is much worse than defenders we're likely to play against, so it's easier to skip past them, without needing blistering pace.

Jurado never actually got any goals or assists though

Definitely would have done more than Zinckernagel in the Championship, mind

I've given you some examples of when I remember seeing him run past people for us, which is what you asked for. I'm not going to bother rewatching the games so I can give you the opposition player and the exact minutes because I know what I saw. I'm going to ignore the League Two comment because it's childish.

Where he's absolutely burned them for pace? I'll take your word for it. Take it as childish if you want, but it's a pretty accurate description of most of the players he was up against.

He's not the quickest, but he's also not the slowest, but in any case, his game doesn't revolve around that, he's more of a floating playmaker. He was fine for us in the Championship under not exactly ideal circumstances for him personally, I think he'd have been fine for us to have in the Prem as a backup, especially with his versatility and with Sarr (and possibly Dennis) going to the AFCON

0.54 goals and assists per 90 in the Championship, that ain't shabby at all!

Just so we have the rules set:

If he comes on and doesn’t do much, he’s always been crap.
But if changes the game and is brilliant, then it’s only the Championship.

Great stewarding there, fan runs on the pitch, celebrates with the Coventry players then jumps back into his seat.

Not a good start for Zinger, but I’m sure he will do well with Forest

And on the other side of the coin:

If he comes on and gives the ball away and does next to nothing, he's just settling in to a new team.
If he changes the game and is brilliant, he's the solution to all our problems and is good enough for the Prem.

As it turns out he comes on with Forest winning 1-0, struggles to retain possession, creates nothing in open play, and they lose 2-1. The difference in quality between PZ and O'Hare is insane
