That is strange and not something I thought they could actually do. I think he's probably signed officially with Udinese but depending on the loan situation the club are hedging their bets. Although, seeing as he's with us, has a squad number and has been officially announced, there must be a registration be it either permanent or a loan. So he's probably on loan right now, but the club may decide to make the deal a permanent one if we need an extra loan slot.
Nothing should surprise at this club. My stepson has said about the amusingly names Gambian Messi, Yankuba Minteh. I've seen small snippets and he looks the business in the Danish league. Udi have put an offer in for him and was wondering if it's one you have or will be scouting?

I'm predicting that he'll get his international clearance too late to feature this month, flies off to play for Brazil, gets injured for the season, joins Udinese in the summer and we never see him in a Watford shirt.

We’re not the only ones. It’s fairly common for players who are playing senior football for clubs, especially clubs outside of S America who are not in the close season.
Could be. But he’s been training with us for a month and there doesn’t seem to be any evidence of that.

With the talent Brazil have, I'm sure they'll muddle through! This must be a sign that his work permit stuff is about to go through and that he is ready to play for us

Interestingly he finally appeared on the Serie As website on Monday as an Udinese player so looks as if it'll be a loan rather than a permanent. Also will mean the WP process will have kicked off so should hopefully be sorted soon.
Disgraceful how Udinese are getting the better players now. If they could get Barco (still refusing his contract at Boca) to replace Udogie and send him to us it would be marvellous.
