Just wait until the open top bus when Gary Lineker is parading the trophy around like he won it single-handed.
They were getting ahead of themselves. They were selling these scarfs at the end of March!! The fact they actually went on to win the league does not detract from them being cocky little sods. I'm surprised they are not selling "Villa are down...hee hee" scarves as well.
According to Leicester fan on the radio at lunchtime who just won £25k on a fiver bet on them winning the league they're only 100/1 for the Champions League.
'They'. If I were a Leicester fan, you could no longer say anything to me as a supporter of any other club, for the rest of my life. They embarrassed the big clubs and achieved something every other smaller club is unlikely to.
Esteban missed out on another winners medal. What a chump..... Congratulations. But remember this word. Humility. It gets you more friends than detractors.
Wasn't it Linekar who tweeted something like ' underwhlemed ' when Lesta announced Ranieri as their manager?
I hope everyone takes a moment to remember where they were the day the Thai king won the Premier League.
I thought about him a lot at the game yesterday. We have a lot to thank him for, not only him being a gorgeous footballer to watch but for galvanizing the entire club at one of it's lowest points. We sang his name relentlessly on the bus home after a stunningly good night out and I cried for about the 50th time that day. As for the humble thing. I first came on here to congratulate you guys after beating us in the playoffs. I don't think it's arrogant of me to say that bragging really isn't in my nature.
Well they will be thinking "typical - win our first ever home CL game and the headlines will all be about something else"
I was fortunate to go to the King Power last night, with a couple of my Leicester mates. I'd never been to a Champion's league game before, so thought I'd go for the experience. We were sat near the Porto fans, who were incredibly noisy. They have a couple of good chants which we could easily adopt. Thought Layun was one of Porto's best players. I forgot how two footed he is, crossing balls in both with his left and right. Shame we let him go.
