    Good for Lesta.

Proof that with the right coach, you can take a bunch of Championship players and turn them into Champions of England.

Andy Goldstein on Talksport throughout the whole season kept saying Leicester will not win it - he cant see Leicester winning it. After Spurs beat Stoke 4-0 he said Spurs were in the box seat and would win the league title and it would definately go down to the last game of the season. After Spurs drew with West Brom he said he thinks Leicester should win it from now but then unbelievably followed it up by saying that all their best players would leave in the summer, they would probably embarrass themselves in Europe and would be a possible relegation candidate next season.

All I keep hearing from pundits is that what Leicester did will ' never be done again' and all the big clubs will be much stronger next season. Forget the fact that city have dropped to 4th after spending over 150million on Sterling, De Bryne and otomendai. Then Man utd were meant to be stonger this season and have dropped from 4th to 5th.

Pundits eh, please stop talking none sense.

I have to confess that Mr HH has already put a bet on this. I'm not quite as pessimistic but do think there is a good chance they'll lose some of their best players in the summer.

Some of their best players will not have a better chance of playing in the Champions League.

The extra strain of European football on the squad will be massive and affects most English teams in Europe. It could be argued that without being in the Europa League, the league form of Spurs and Liverpool would be vastly greater as they always under perform the Sunday after a Europa match. Spurs could have won the league in my opinion without that.

The question will be, do they do a West Ham and throw the Champions League (surely they wouldn't) or sacrifice the league position for Europe. If the latter then I'd agree that they will struggle next year without a vast improvement in their strength in depth.

I think the better players - Mahrez, Kante, Vardy - could well be persuaded to go to if it was to another CL team - United, City etc.

Kante could play for anyone in Europe.

They have 6 guaranteed games in the CL group stage so can't really throw it now. West Ham got knocked out of the Europa League when they were playing qualifying games before the season started so not entirely comparable in my view.

This is good advice but on the other hand when driving along motorways beyond 11pm the loud and annoying tone of their voices can keep you awake for miles. Recommended.

man utd almost certainly wont be in the Champions League next season - they would be better off staying at Leicester and having a go in the Champions League. They will get better contracts at Leicester so money shouldnt be an issue unless you arent happy with 100k a week and want 200k a week without guaranteed first team football.

Other gems I have heard from the Sports bar presenter - and his co-host Jason Cundy in the last week:

' City would have lost to PSG if PSG had taken all their chances - City wont win the competition cos Barcelona and Real Madrid are still in it' The following day Barcelona lost their quarter final tie.

' Liverpool arent flying the flag for English teams in Europe - they've only won one European cup in 35 years' Actually they have won 3 in 35 years.

' Where did Liverpool finish last year it was 7th or 8th wasnt it? - someone in my ear is telling me it was 7th. So Klopp isnt doing much better than Rogers if you look at where Liverpool are in the table.' Actually Liverpool finished 6th last season.

True - in fact probably worse for them as they are forced to play additional games. Just wonder whether they play weakened teams or actually go for it.

    Good point, well made!

I've got a nagging feeling Bournemouth might do a bit of a Leicester next season. They won't win the league but I think they'll qualify for Europe. Don't shoot me!

Strange that you'd celebrate winning the league by letting a terrible band play at your stadium, even if they do support Leicester.
