Replace the word 'forum' with the word 'Twitter' in this and it's perhaps the most amusing, least self-aware post I've seen in some time. Fair play.
Wait, what? It’s one of the most amusing, unaware posts you’ve seen - but only if you change what it’s says? How does that work?!
What do you know and how does it answer my questions? You know that Gino Pozzo won't inherit his father's money for instance? Are you one of the Pozzo family?!
There is really little point to anyone telling you what they know in detail. Because you’ll ask for conclusive evidence blah blah or else you’ll otherwise just believe your own wrong opinion forevermore. I’ve told you that I know you’re wrong. I’m not going to break the confidence of the people I know who have shown me conclusively that you’re wrong just because you don’t like being wrong.
In other words: I am incapable of answering your questions, but trust me bro. Also, I genuinely can't even imagine anything you supposedly knew that would enable you to answer this question in the affirmative: "You think it wouldn't be more beneficial if the club received £16mil for a player from a club outside the group than from another Pozzo club?"
Maybe I like their posts because we have similar mindsets and thoughts? If I like what you post I will like it. Me and thee have not so similar beliefs so less likely I will like your posts.
Fully agree which is why I don’t understand why people make snide comments about “likes” or get bothered by them. If I post about our owner I imagine I could name some of the people who would “like” it. If Rous inexplicably posts in defence of the horror I’d expect you and TuT to “like” it. Not sure why that bothers anyone to be honest.
I think the point was more that it’s regularly thrown at some of us that we just like each others posts like some sort of cult. But it’s ignored when it’s done by people on the other side of the fence.
Haha, believe me when I tell you - I would never claim to be your ‘bro’. It’s nothing to do with being incapable of countering your inane, incorrect, points of view. It’s more that I’ve seen you play this game before endless times and it’s as boring as it was the first time I saw it. I know a fair bit about the finances of the football club - and the vast majority of that disproves your ‘one big pot’ stories that you continue to peddle. If you think I’m going to break the trust of the people who told me within the club, just to score a point over you, think again. I’m more than content to just keep telling you that you’re wrong each time. Now go and report this post for some weird reason you’ve conjured up.
Personal and business finances whilst have some similarities, are also different in many ways (I.e. leverage).
Any business owner would obviously disregard any long term debt that the company owed him/her when assessing its liquidity. You input cash as loan or capital depending on future tax planning. Greater flexibility with loans of course that you could convert to capital anytime you like but not easy to convert capital back to loan without going through capital reduction prices which requires good distributable reserves. There are of course rules to protect 3rd party creditors and esp football creditors being penalised by an owner repaying his own loan and leaving others high and dry.
No idea to be honest, beginning to think my source might be becoming a bit out of the loop. Told me about this and Kone going to Udinese and as of now doesn’t seem either are. but we will see what happens in the coming month or so I guess.
