TD doesn't look too happy to see him in the twitter video, hopefully cos he knows he's losing his place soon.
No one wants to socialise with a pedro, just in case one of those vigilante groups appears from no where and puts a video on youtube.
At least if he doesn't play we have a manager who can coherently tell us why. That alone was the main thing that pissed me off.
Very true, we now get to hear he's **** and a waste of time and money in a less round about way. Penaranda version 2
I hope Gomes is making him feel super welcome. After all it’s the only reason we gave the old duffer a new contract and hindered other keeper development.
Looked at a few of his goals for his previous employers and he looks decent and quite raw. In a lot of ways he reminds me of Richarlison. But, I hope he does not turn into what Rich became. A player who turns up when he wants to and sulks when things don't go his way.
Clearly not resting our hopes in him but hopefully we’ll see him coming off the bench having an impact . There’s an amusing video online of him watching the Man Utd match in the stands . The guy sitting next to him keeps asking his interpreter /whoever it is questions and he doesn’t understand only for Pedro to tell him what the guy is saying . Then the guy keeps offering Pedro his clothes . I’d think it was a spoof if i did t know better .
Who is this guy going to replace? If he's reasonably quick, got average positional awareness and can hit the target more than once every three games, Gray has got to be looking at other clubs if he wants regular football.
But is there any clubs stupid enough to take him on. I'm hoping WBA take the bait of his lucky season in the Championship with Burnley.
They all are until we see them play. You may be right though. There could be a case for playing him up top between Sarr and Del, with Troy behind as our most advanced midfielder. But we'll have to wait and see.
The prospect of Troy effectively playing the Doucs role. I can just picture TD huffing and puffing his way up the pitch before the ball is lost and attack turns to defence, then, after an oil-tanker turn, heading back towards his own goal full pelt, just as the ball is won back and defence turns to attack again....another oil-tanker turn and he's off again.....Hilarious image....
Lol yeah. And if we're winning we can chant 'how **** must you be we are winning' at their players whilst demeaning our own. LMAO.
Yes imagine, troy in centre mid with doucoure on the bench. It'd be like when man city were desperate for a goal and stuart pearce lashed david james up front with jonathan macken sat on the bench.
Troy can see a pass and haven't you noticed him bringing others into play? His challenges lift the team and Nige obviously values his contribution, but a quicker striker would be good. Therefore I think this could be a possibility. But, as I said, let's wait and see.
Of course he can see a pass and bring others into play but I don't see that makes him an attacking MF player. It's a requirement of a target man. Not a chance we will play TD, JP plus the 2 widemen in the prem.
Lol we're so harsh on our own players. Okay he's not good enough for the Prem that's fair but to discredit his lower league record as one "lucky season" is unfair. 14/15 - 45 league games, 16 goals, 8 assists. 15/16 - 43 league games, 25 goals, 10 assists. 16/17 - 32 Premier League games, 9 goals, 3 assists. In total his Championship stats read as 88 played, 41 goals, 18 assists.
I think we can all agree that he's only got one game to prove himself. After the Wolves game we'll know for certain if he's a world beater or utter dog turd.
A very likeable lad. Keep your head down, work hard and make the most of the talent you have aplenty.
OK fair point. But he's not in the championship any more. Hopefully he will be soon though. I don't usually criticise our players. But he's effin hopeless and I'm being nice to him.
