Now GD needs an operation he can go to Udienese and take Kamara with him.

Using the standard "Kamara scale mark-up" pricing ?

It's so strange that it rarely seems to occur to him to go looking for the ball and get involved in the game. Just hangs around like a lemon on the wing and if the ball comes to him, then great. If he was a truly good player, he'd go and demand the ball and start dominating games.

£30+m was a completely insane price for him and doubt it was any coincidence that Mogi set up his UK company the same summer as his transfer, he obviously knew he was getting a hefty commission and the bigger the fee, the better!

Come on Everton….do the right thing and buy Sarr to replace Gordon. I beg of you!

The people who pay good money to watch him & the club who pay him a fortune to play football.

Maximum effort has always been the minimum requirement and he doesn’t fulfil that obligation.

Undercover agent Dyche to beg Moshi to sign Sarr and take Neverton down to where they belong.

I would actually be amazed if Everton don't come in for Sarr now that Gordon is gone.

Might even be able to fleece them for something utterly ridiculous like £20m.

I wouldn’t. Really not Dyche’s type of player.

More chance of Palace or outside chance of Villa.

Palace have Zaha out now too. Stevie G was the main obstacle to Sarr to Villa in summer and he is now not in situ.

You may well be right, but Everton love a signing that doesn't fit at all with what the manager wants and/or they need.

That reminds me of another club, actually...

Whatever people’s personal opinion is of Sarr, you can only imagine Bilic’s reaction if we sign no one but sell Sarr.

I’d be amazed if Bilic were here come the weekend in that instance.

(And there’s a few that wouldn’t care either way)

Late bid from Everton for Sarr has been rejected.

#EFC made late loan offer for #WatfordFC's Ismaila Sarr. Has been rejected.
Proposal was loan fee plus obligation to buy if Everton stayed up plus bonuses.

    Details explained here for @TheAthleticFC

Wow, I’ve just read the piece written by AL. It was a £2m loan fee, plus £30m obligation if Everton stayed up plus £4m in appearances. I can’t believe we turned that down.

  23. Burnsy

    Burnsy First Team

Haha, a loan with obligation IF they stay up.

I know people want him sold - but jesus, thats a horrific offer. How did they ever think that would get accepted.

The obligatory fee was £30m and another £4m in bonuses. So I suppose the logic was we’ll go cheap now and overcompensate you later. There was some logic there but I think they overshot (eg £10m loan fee, £25m obligation should they stay up would have been decent IMO)

Zero logic in trying to take one of the best players off a promotion chasing team on a temporary basis - and only keeping him IF, as a team in turmoil at the bottom of the PL, you manage to defeat the odds and stay up. Zero logic at all.

    Agreed.

    I don't want him here, he's a liability, but that is a sh*t offer!

If they offered £25m cash upfront I would've snapped their hands off!

  31. PowerJugs

I know by all logic, he should be a key player for us. But he just hasn't been that for months, months and months now. I'd have taken that as Sarr just won't ever reliably perform for us and a change of environment could have done him more good than staying with us. If he does well, his price improves. If he doesn't, then realistically he wouldn't have done much better for us.

  32. hornetboy1

My thinking is Everton won’t go down. So we’d be getting £36m for Sarr.

But even if not, £2m now and get him back at the end of the season.

I am surprised they’ve turned that down.
