It's edging ever nearer. The deal has all been agreed, the attendance clause has been dropped and Araujo is flying over this afternoon to complete his medical. It was delayed because of his birthday celebrations yesterday. Two sources claim player to arrive in London for Watford medical – Deal closed with club on Thursday - Sport Witness
So he can't play against Rotherham, in the game which may define our whole season if we drop points with Bayo or Adeyemo upfront, because he was out drinking and celebrating his birthday ? Clearly an attitude problem and poor sense of priorities. I'm getting Andre Gray vibes. Get rid.
Controversially, although Sensible Soccer looked much better and had more realistic gameplay, thought Kick Off 2 was the better game as SS was just too easy. Although Kick Off 2 only really rewarded the ball pumped over the top to chase - a good enough reflection of early 90s English football!
I understand what you mean and somewhat agree but it looks like financially we're seem pretty screwed atm. Exciting loans like this seem the way the club is moving.
If you mastered the lob from the halfway line you could score at will on KO2. Just run towards the goal through the centre circle and shoot/pull back on joystick at the same time. Goal guaranteed.
There was something like that on one of the early FIFAs (I think 98?) on the Mega Drive where there was a certain spot on the wing that you could shoot from and it'd go in like 90% of the time. 10 year old me had that nailed down to the point my uncle would refuse to play against me (or ban me from doing it) whenever I would go round and visit
I don't see that as a problem. He was never going to be available for Rotherham. I know fans want everything instantly, but progress is always slow. Very often there are work permits and international clearances to sort out. That is never speedy. The player has to come from a foreign country, he has to acclimatise, the coach has to see him in a few training sessions. There are lots of moving parts, which delay things. For me, let him have have birthday bash. It's his 21st after all, not an insignificant milestone. Best get him over, sign the contract and have his medical today, watch the match on Saturday then start training on Monday.
Haha, yep! Lob the ball up, keeper would let it bounce over his head and you could head it/run it into an empty net. That and the ridiculous swerve you could put on shots were the main two ways of scoring, passing moves were one in a million!
Hello Watford English football fans. You are loaning a very special player from us. I hope that one day he will be king for us. We'll take care of your fortune for the rest of the season. Tell me how do you feel he does it for you?
Are you suggesting we harvest youthful hamstrings from unwitting loan players and transplant them into our own in some twisted organ harvesting scheme……. If so I enjoy your plan and would like to subscribe to your newsletter
Próxima Jornada @ProximaJornada1 7m Benfica manager Roger Schmidt has confirmed the departure of Henrique Araújo on loan to #WatfordFC. "It's a great opportunity to develop in the Championship. I believe in him a lot. It's a great opportunity for him to come back in the summer and show his full potential."
We re going to make a human centipede made entirely of U18 plaers hamstrings and he's going to break all goalscoring records.
A promising young man … with few opportunities, a good loan can work. good luck kid! You have to play in a better league than league 2. You need game time and evolve. I think it's a good solution to get out of your comfort zone. He's young and doesn't have to be on the bench. It is the best solution for the player, the team and the club.
