SuperTam thats simply not possible. Not enough funds and i'm sure you would be fighting against relegation as soon as you reach league 1, you've of course added another user or just saved it before every game and play until you win.

anyway as for my peterborough-turned villa career, ive picked up 4 points from my first two games, with a draw at portsmouth followed up by a win against west ham.

 

Well Ive been on holiday for half a season and realised it's just as quick to do it normally. I do a month every now and then

 

Well my Bristol Rovers game is coming along nicely. No cheating at all, SuperTam trust me there is no better way to play the game lol. Got promoted into the Championship in my first season finishing 2nd, it was very very tight but I just scraped automatic promotion.



I've made over a million from gaining promotion, although I only have 40k to spend. But my wage bill has increased therefore i'm making a lot of free transfer sigings.

 

I agree with you all that it's not the best way to play it, but I've enjoyed it. Got offered many international jobs and accepted the cameroon job. Got turned down by England in favour of Stuart Pearce???

 

In my Unemployed game i took the job at dorchester. Currently guiding them to the title.

With 3 games left in the season (about to kick off next game) here's the table:

Just finished my first season as Everton, finished 6th. Won the League Cup and the Euro Cup, both were suprisingly easy seeing as ive never won the Euro Cup on my Watford career. I beat Chelsea to the League Cup and Man City to the Euro Cup.

Start of the season I signed:

Jeremy Mathieu for 2.5 million
Gorka Elustondo for 2 million
Razvan Ochirosii for 170k

Razvan Ochirosii was then sent out on loan to Watford for 6 months and Seasmus Coleman was sent out on loan to Morecambe, I sold Nuno Valente to West Brom for 275k ( he later scored an own goal that helped me win at the Hawthorns )

I had to sell Joleon Lescott as he was unhappy being third choice behind Jeremy Mathieu and Leighton Baines for 6.75 million to Man City. I then also had to sell Mikel Arteta as he was the target of bigger teams for the first half of the season (e.g Valencia, Atletico, Arsenal) for 15 million to Arsenal. Yoseph Yobo also fell to the rumours and was sold to Man City for 10 million. I then offloaded Spencer Scott to Rushden.

As replacements and added firepower I signed:

Thaigo Motta for 675k
Matteo Darmian for 725k
Ibrahim Afellay for 8 million
Oscar Cardoza for 9 million scored 7 in 15 for me.

Over the course of the season on loan Jo scored 26 Goals for me, Fellaini scored 13, Mathieu scored 12, James Vaughn scored 11, Saha scored 9. The list goes on... Yakubu didnt score once in 14 appearances so i stopped playing him.

Won the blue square south title on the last day of the season after winning my last 5 games and being unbeaten in 8 games at the end

As this is my manager game rather than a specific club i may consider a move if i get offered a good job. I've already been linked with a few league 1 jobs, but we'll see

i have kept aston villa in the premier league, finishing a comfortable tenth in the end. my old team peterborough missed out on a playoff place on goal difference, so im a little gutted for them.

its going to be a season of change at villa park next year, as i ship out some of the deadwood and create an english revolution.

 

Class players, on a premiership career a while back blackburn signed Oscar Cardozo and was a class act (kept scoring against me 5 in two games:dismay Ended up winning the golden boot as well

 

Over the transfer window for Everton I've signed:

Batuhan Karadeniz from Besiktas for 6 million

Mamadou Sakho from Paris-Saint Germain for 19.5 million

Vincenzo Fiorillo from Roma for 1.5 million

Diego Buonanotte from River Plate for 8 million

Chumbo- have you used all your transfer budget? And how much in total was your budget?

 

It was 25 million to start and I added 4 million from the wage budget. Add the players I sold I made 19.5 million

The players i bought cost me 47.5 million leaving me 1 million to put back into the wage budget

 

I started a everton career a while back, first year naff all money and couldn't be bothered to get to second year as i thought i wouldn't get a lot of money again.

Maybe not! I still have the game if i want to go back to it

 

Yer i was suprised myself as i only said i would achieve Euro qualification through my finishing place. Next season after hopefuly seeing a few young players progress such as Sakho, Ifellay and Razvan Ochirosii i can possibly push for title challenge.

 

i stated at the start of the season to the board that i would be able to finish in top half, for which they gave me a transfer budget of 43!!!!!!!!. i intended to rebuild the squad, with the aim of making it a very strong team with a large base of english players.

attached is the transfer history up to end of august, and my ideal starting 11.

Can the two peterborough players really mix in the prem? Or were you just helping them out to give them money?

Some decent buys and prices eg foster for free, noble for 2.5 and johnson for 11. But i personally wouldn't have signed owen and for 13m. You made some decent money for some average players who are ageing. And to sell niko k for 15.5 is a good deal for you.

With your best starting line up you can't stop the formidable petrov and barry partnership Stilian Petrov is class, villa's player of the season

 

hehe. gabby zakuani was my club captain when i was at peterborough, he was always a standout performer. ive signed him as cover more than anything, but he is only 22 and i feel he has a job to do in my team.

connor rennie (the other peterborough signing is only 17, he is a young scottish lad who i signed on the cheap from inverness in my first season, perhaps one for the future, played a major role in my fa cup run).

i will admit signing owen was a gamble, i am relying on him being the perfect strike partner for heskey.

still not bad for an attempt of an all english squad thus far!

 

What do your villa coaches say there potential is?

 

I started a new game with Leeds, and only starting with £100K I couldn't really sign any big names, so I got Gibson and Possebon on loan from Man Utd and Insua from Liverpool, along with a couple of players from the second tiers in Spain/Sweden, now my team looks like this:

Beckford has been on fire all season, scoring 28 in 24 so far by November to fire me top of the league with a 100% record still in tact, I've also knocked Ipswich, Plymouth and then Man City in the League Cup, now I have Portsmouth in the 4th round.

I sold quite a lot of deadwood from the club, Robinson, Richardson, Showumni etc, and I've got Zuculini coming in the winter, and Laurito coming next summer, I fully expect to be promoted and can't wait to start amending my squad for the CCC.

 

well they reckon gabby is no more than a squad player, they reckon connie should go. i know better!

he is only 17 and scored twice in the 13 appearances he made for me in central midfield, both in the fa cup, one against wigan away and again at home.

im prepared to take a risk on him,

 

Anbody help me, i have a few minor problems

On a WBA career it hasn't started to well about 5 games in and i have Won 0 Drawn 2 lost 3. Morale is fairly low how can i increase it? When i used to play fifa manager it would be easy to increase it but on fm there isn't any similar things like day trips, training camps etc.

Another thing when i get to january i need to buy another star centre back. Miranda who is a class CB from brazil is very decent but i need another gem. I have £6m transfer budget left and i would be willing to spen it all on a class CB for good premiership standard?

 

individual player morale can be increased by player interaction, but use it sparingly.

as for a good premier league CB, take a gamble of Gabby zakuani, cheap with the potential to improve.

 

I can't take gambles i have LEON BARNETT he is an absolute shocker and is nearly as bad as miles addison who i thought would have done ok but atm his average rating is 5.5 :dismay:

Meite is average to good and miranda is immense and holds my defence in place. The best £4.6m i have ever spent and his potential is leading premiership player.

 

ok ok, consider it this way, GZ is not a gamble, he is certain to shore up your defence.

 

wfc4ever, look at Fabricio or ask your assistant to give you loan feedback on centre backs, you might be able to get someone half decent for a small fee on loan

My scout who is top notch says zakuani would be my 6th best centre back, so thanks but no thanks.

Fabricio is currently on loan so cant get him until next season. I will send BR (my assistant) to find me a loan target. Brendan shows us your magic!

I had a really random thing on my game just now. Meite got sent off in the 58th minute for persistent fouling and got motm even though we lost 1-0 ???

 

You might be able to get Diakhate for £6M by the way. He has good sell-on value too.

Hint: If you offer £XM (for example's sake £8M) over 24 months, it'll only take half out the transfer budget (so for the example.. £4M).

If not, look at Mark Beevers or Richard Hinds, both can do it at EPL level.
