Don't agree with that at all

 

Bit of a shame Norris shat the bed from the start. Red Bull still well placed with Perez in 3rd, while Bottas is going backwards.

 

Nonsense decision by the stewards. I hope Hamilton loses. I can switch off now lol

 

I agree it’s the wrong decision but there was no where for Hamilton to go really. He couldn’t just disappear. They should have made him swap the place back though.

 

You cannot argue that Max in Brazil was unfair, and argue today was fair. They were both unfair.

But at least the stewards are being consistent.

The place should have been given back.

 

Like I said, Mercedes don't get penalised the same way. The only person backing the stewards is Rosberg and even he said Hamilton didn't give back his advantage.

 

From here, you’d think Perez goes as long as possible.

I’m not sure why Hamilton didn’t protect his inside more, Max was always going to dive from distance down the inside and block the turn in.

 

They've ruined the race. Hamilton would have probably got past him about now anyway but it's going to be hugely uninteresting.

Well, they got penalised the same way Max did in Brazil. But it’s a nonsense in both situations.

 

But not last week. Plus Max stayed on the track this time, so it's black and white.

 

Maybe. But not sure where it would lead. If it happened on the last lap they could unwind the clock and swap the place. But 57 laps worth of unwinding? Hamilton didn’t initiate the move, he just reacted to it and bailed into the run off to avoid contact.

If I was Max, I'd sit back to avoid the dirty air and preserve tyres, and try to overtake when Lewis hits traffic.

 

Not that likely to happen at a big wide track like this but a full safety car would really make this interesting.

Mercedes’ strategists have been slow most of this season. Bring Lewis in in about 5 laps and bung him onto softs to hunt down Max?

 

That's absolutely bonkers. He went past the escape road to park there.

Advantage Max I'd say, unless there is another VSC. If there is an actual safety car, then Max is almost guaranteed to win the championship.
