    Watching Sen Vs Eqg

By jove the standard is appalling. They showed goals from the other qfs at half time and the pace is so slow, no pressure on the ball, it's dismal.

Given the standard of many of the players involved, it's baffling that the national sides are so poor.

Goal! EQG deserve it tbf. Good game this.

Edit: but you're right Moog, the standard is poor.

Senegal are the new Ivory Coast - stacked with talent but extremely unable to express it collectively.

What we need now is for Sarr to have a blinding 30 minutes but Senegal to go out. Sarr home and fit in time for Burnley.

While there's always a risk, I'm glad to see him.

The annoying vagueness from Watford had me thinking he was done for the season.

And he's scored. He looks so happy playing for Senegal compared to our dire outfit. :(

Doesn't really matter as there's the 3rd place playoff. Sarr will be there the distance no matter what.

    Nice finishing.

Can see what a threat his pace is.

    Made a real difference.

Love to see him throwing himself to the ground to block passes in the midfield when they're 2 goals up with one minute to go in the game against far inferior opposition. Genius.

Sarr looks a bit lethargic to be honest, walking pace 80% of the time looking quite disinterested half the time.

Back to his usual self in other words.

But did what he had to when it mattered .

Suspect he was taking it easy after that .

Hope Sarr gets a hattrick in the final. That would put another £10m on his value.

The long term effects of playing already, no doubt with significant pain-killing injections, will be severe.

Still, hopefully they won’t become apparent until after we’ve sold him for mega bucks.

How much pain and how unfit he is ?

We don’t really know - Senegal will probably say they were proven correct to play him .

Just that he won’t be match fit ..

It'll be interesting to see how many minutes he gets in the semi. If he is fit and just needs match time this could actually be good for him and us.

Good heavens, flicked the Senegal game on last night and immediately I see Sarr getting absolutely clattered by a defender.

The concern is that clearly Senegal have no care for their players wellbeing, look at them playing Mane with a concussion. If Sarr gets a season ending injury out there, we have absolutely no recourse. Even suing the Senegalese FA out of existence wouldn't cover a fraction of the cost of relegation, not to mention that ending football in a West African nation would be pretty bad PR.

If only footballers had brains and could determine for themselves things like injuries. We wouldn’t be in this position.

Maybe, just maybe, there’s a chance that Sarr is, you know…..fit?

He’s a highly-known young footballer who will have eyes on getting to the top of the game. I doubt he would drastically risk getting a huge injury and put that in jeopardy!

Think some people need to dial the temperature down and just accept he’s been called up by his nation and a group of people believe him fit enough to play - including the player himself.
