A lad who works for me went today, I put it down to the exuberance of youth. Either that or he’s not the full ticket
Yep. I’m honestly more convinced anytime since about 1996 that we’re on the verge of soon playing the level below the Championship again for the first time in a long while. Certainly in the next 4/5 years or so.
Blaming the players for the abject mismanagement of the club is naive and way wide of the mark. Duxbury wants you to blame the players not him. Are u hoping for an invite to the next committee meeting? Football is one of the areas of life that most clearly demonstrates the impact of good and bad management on an organisation. This has nothing to do with the players or the coaches. Our club has been bent out of shape by atrocious and abject mismanagement, we are run by tragic egotistical charlatans who have no clue how to build an effective and well functioning organisation. Under these circumstances I think we did well to score at city and keep it down to 5. Although it is rather indicitative of our senior management that Jesus has scored more PL goals against WFC this season than all the other 18 clubs combined......
Kamara was at fault for the penalty, besides Jesus dived to get the penalty as there was no contact from Foster. Sent from my TECNO P701 using Tapatalk
Foster clearly caught Jesus on the foot from the replay I saw. An idiotic decision from the man-child.
I remember the days when a post like this from you would receive a torrent of abuse in reply. Good times.
Sam Ucko was row behind me today and joined in with my Duxberry out chants. Make of that why you will
Turned off at 2-0, checked the score at the end, first time I’ve done that in years. Literally could not care less. And next season City will have Haaland, and the pundits will **** themselves silly over it as they steamroller everything in their sight again.
That’s like respecting someone for running head first into a wall and paying £100 for the privilege. I’m worried for them. But also worried that they get to vote, drive etc until they’ve sought the necessary help.
Not one redeeming thing around this club right now for fans to get excited about is there? We’re literally clinging on to the hope of retaining Pedro, Cucho, Louza & Kamara. That’s it. We’ve been in worse financial situations but these are really, really dire times.
Four players who give the bear minimum of some actual effort and care about losing. Just four. In our whole ******* squad. And that's our crown jewels. Four basically adequate players. And have we actually been in worse financial situations? I'm not sure we have.
Genuine question, did Bolton fans see their slide coming when they were in the Prem? Did the mismanagement of the club seep down or was it different for them. Charlton, Portsmouth, Wigan? Anyone know? I am genuinely intrigued as to whether a club has been mismanaged in the Premier League and it’s clear for all the fans to see and they then slid down multiple divisions very quickly? Because if so, that would be my response to any fan saying “shut up be grateful we are in the Premier League”
We are just so pathetic. 4 minutes this time, to add to the other recent games against City where we've conceded after 1 minute and 3 minutes. Oh and of course, giving away a penalty after 1 minute against Arsenal in the must win game to stay up last time around. And the record quickest goal that Shane Long scored. We are so weak minded, beaten before we even step on the pitch.
How many Championship teams would’ve put up a more pathetic effort over a whole season than this? Probably the genuinely awful ones, Barnsley and Peterborough? Other than that I honestly don’t think any team from The Championship can do worse than 6 wins and 23 losses is a season of 33 games. That’s literally only 10 games out of 33 we’ve managed to not lose. I believe that there is nothing between our squad and that of a organised, United, hard working one in 10th in a tier below. Scary.
I’m genuinely not sure we have been in worse financial situations once the full impact of what Pozzo has done plays out.
Yep. Spineless. Gutless. Feels like I write this every week so not much point investing any more time in the cowards. I am genuinely baffled how anyone would spend time and money to go there today.
Amazing how some people have blind faith in our owners and refuse to criticise the obvious huge issues even when pointed out the total disjointed squad, the ongoing toxicity of the squad, the instability of a new manager with new tactics every 3 months, our debt, our lack of assets, the awful PR, losing many in the fan base and how there is a real chance that this is the start of a real slide…..you are met with would you prefer Bassini, our lovely owners built a GT plaque etc etc it’s worse than religion…
