Arsenal were there to be shot at when it was 3-1 but we did naff all for half an hour until Sissoko snuck a shot in. Then we did nothing for 5 minutes stoppage time.

So depressing that's it come to this. Don't think I've ever felt this disconnected to the club before. Its genuinely hard to care any more and there's so little to like about the club from top to bottom.

Watford have a lot of hard thinking to do about their approach to coaching, but I think Hodgson is largely not to blame for the current situation. Too many of the players are not good enough and he has picked up far too late in the season, with far too much to change and improve and far too little time to do it in.

Both times we’ve played wolves this season, they’d lost the previous two matches without scoring a goal.

Kalu only had 4 touches in 45 minutes. How is that possible? Even King managed 15 in the first half!

 

Couldn't Chelsea just give away the tickets in a ballot? Or Give the tickets to Watford FC who sell and donate the money to Ukraine?

 

It’s just putting money in Mogi Bayat pocket. The player is irrelevant.

 

Thing is, they always follow up with 200 words just saying exactly the same as everyone else. But they're somehow more virtuous because they waited 12 hours and look down on the 'toxic' people.

 

50% of Kalu's appearance fees probably go to Mogi.

Didn't bother to watch the game. To those unfortunate enough to watch that shocking display, was this the worse so far this season?

There's some stiff competition. Leeds away, Norwich at home, West at home, Palace at home etc..

 

Yep it’s so tedious.

 

I was having some internet issues so couldnt find a working stream and had to make do with the 3cr commentary which meant thankfully I missed those 3 goals in 8 minutes. Had a look at the stats at half time and wolves only had 4 shots in total, 2 on target yet scored 3 goals. Not the first time this season we have conceded more goals than the opposition have had shots on target, its quite a feat really.

I was hoping to see some sort of response after half time but we just sounded like a time resigned to their fate, short of both confidence and self belief.

We havent improved defensively in the slightest, we are just as bad now as we were under Ranieri and Munoz. And like those two managers, Roy has us playing the same formation and the same system as they did with the same outcome being achieved on the pitch. It just isnt working yet we continue to perservere with it. Surely Roy isnt that much of a dinosaur to not try something different or are the hierachy interfering in how they want the team set up.

Was Pedro injured? Considering we are in a position where we need points that bench tonight with virtually no attacking players on it again was shambolic. I look at the 3 teams immediately above us and they are all just as bad as we are, it really wouldnt take much to avoid relegation this season but we just dont seem to have it in us.

 

Are we allowed to call Kiko a coward? Or are we still taking their feelings into account?

 

Yep, much better, thank you! It got to a stage where I was drinking at least a bottle of wine or 2 every evening.

I cannot really put it into words what my emotions were but i’ve moved on massively since that period.

I’ve not really expressed it here, or anywhere else for that matter as I didn’t really want to drag personal things, or even suggest that football played a part in it; but tonight in particular reminded me of that day I spent watching us crumble to Arsenal in our final attempt at staying up with a bottle of wine in hand.

Feel’s so long ago now anyways, but and im glad to see the back of that torrid time.
