What else shall we talk about? The performance? Same record. Poor technical ability of our players? Same record. Poor crowd involvement? Same record.
It's fine margins. On another night, Kiko gets out wide quicker and prevents their first, then Sissoko puts us 1-0 up. Their second goes wide and their third gets saved. Without us chasing the game they never get their fourth and we win 1-0. Could have gone either way. All the doom and gloom mongers will point to 4 goals conceded and a 7th consecutive home defeat, but this is an oversimplification in my view. In another universe, we easily win that 1-0 and then there's a completely different atmosphere on here. Some of you are so knee jerk. The 'Orns are stayin' up
Good win for Luton too just to round the evening off nicely. Is it better they swap places with us or just beat us to promotion next season ?
I think if you look closely HB1 actually predicted we would wouldn’t get enough points and so would go down.
That was just about as miserable a match as I have watched us play. We need to be put out of our misery. So much to be pissed off about. Awful display by us Hughes plays well Zaha gets a brace Hammered Burnley win Despair.
Missed most of the second half but what I saw was dreadful. After Villa I thought maybe we could get some momentum going but I forgot what team this is. Horrible performance. Can't wait to lose 5-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday.
If any of our imbecilic teenagers call a phone in during the next twenty four hours and plead positivity, can someone insert a large garden gnome into them please? Sideways. Slowly. Thank you.
Didn't he hedge his prediction by saying something like "we definitely won't go down, except if we do, then it will be the fault of all the fans who didn't agree with me?"
Well less about that the better ! Their goalie didn’t have a save to make . Sarr literally straight down the tunnel about 2 seconds after the final whistle
Pure cowardice. I have realised however that it’s not the club I can’t stand. It’s the significant proportion of fools in our fanbase who leave the owners unaccountable. There are huge idiots on this forum of course, but if you read Twitter it makes the blood boil.
You forgot to login as HB When we win people conveniently forget the lucky breaks and open goals the opposition miss. Tonight the deflections and luck didnt go with us. That happens every match and all games swing to and fro until the luck runs out or helps you out. Losing does not always deserve boos and winning does not always deserve claps. What we had tonight though was utterly abysmal at times in quality, in desire, in positivity and in fight. We deserved our own lack of luck from top to bottom.
Only positive is couldn't get day off work so missed that ***** and didn't have to face a long drive home
Sarr sprinted down the tunnel at FT. Literally starting running before the ref put the whistle to his mouth. Speaks volumes really. He wants out now.
I know. Theres always a bit of influence on the result from which way the luck swings. Tonight its irrefutable that we lost because we were ****.
If we beat man utd then we are back in it. Think about it, we expected to beat Palace and lose to Man utd, so losing to Palace and beating man u leaves us in the same excellent position.
I loathe the owners, the coaches, the players they've assembled, the media team and 90% of our fan base, although if you go to the ground, it's a pretty miserable affair. People are like how I imagine mediaeval peasants must have been, with no hope of anything better, just a stoic acceptance of their miserable lot.
I've forgotten what it's like to enjoy football. Even after Saturday I knew the next performance would be the complete opposite of what we saw against Villa.
I don't blame him for it either. Would you want to stay in this side who can only be bothered to put a shift in when they feel like it? Sarr is a good player, we were very lucky to hold on to him last season, and he will be gone in the Summer, even if it's for half of what we paid. He would excel in a side that wants to fight and win in the PL. That isn't us and hasn't been all season.
I’ve been a supporter when we had far worse owners I’ve been a supporter when we had technically far worse players I’ve been a supporter when I questioned our management I’ve never been a supporter when I despise the owners, would be happy to see every player sold and can’t get behind the manager..,until now total and utter c£&p
