Can't imagine the likes of Fabrinni, Faraoni, Forestieri and Angella getting stuck in on a wet, windy evening in Yeovil. Fingers crossed it gets postponed and is played on a more mild day otherwise our foreign fancy Dans will be shown up for the prima donnas they are.
Looking at the weather down there it looks like there will be an almighty downpour between 3-5 this afternoon. Can't see this happening. Hate having no football on!
The game will be called off and the gap between ourselves and Burnley will widen. This season is the pits!
I'm in Sherborne, near Yeovil and it's bucketing down. not keen to stand on the terraces for this one
He can't run! Anyone else notice the problem of a 36 year old playing three games in a week for 90 minutes when he can't run
Going to wait till the pitch inspection before I leave, but I can see them saying it'll be on and then calling it off later on if this rain continues
Sorry for those who'd already set off..but may not be a total disaster..we may have a better and bigger squad to pick from when the game gets played.
Absolutely gutted about the game. This would have been my first ever away game! With some friends down here as well, one of which is a Yeovil fan.
Weather not looking bad for this tonight. The Arrow pub looks favourite for a pre match tipple as it's the closest to the ground (1 mile) and apparently away fan friendly. First in a what looks like a favourable run of games but you never know in this division but we could be 9th come then end of tonight and only 6 points off the play offs. Good to hear Almunia is fit and would be nice to see Park at some point Almunia Casetti Hoban Angella Anya Pudil Toszer Battochio Merkel FF Deeney Bond Nosworthy Murray Bellerin Park Ranegie (if he exists) Faraoni Be interesting to see how many of the 900 odd ticket holders go to this.
I'd probably go with the same team as Knight, but again, swap Murray for Battocchio. Murray is a lot stronger this season and his work rate is very impressive. I have a feeling Forestieri may be rested for this game as silly as that would be. I'd like to see him start but I just can't see it
I Hope FF starts but you may well be right. If it was me I would not drop somebody on the top of their game
Exactly that but he has looked shattered after games. I want him to start and be the nuisance that he is for defenders but I do think that Bolton on Saturday would be better for him. Although, we can't underestimate Yeovil, they smashed us 3-0 afterall and defended with more guts than I've seen any other team do.
Apparently Park is rapid so he could be told to do the same things as Fessi. Obviously the lack of match fitness will come into play but if he hits the ground running it could work out well
Whilst Park is rapid he isn't the sort of player to frustrate defenders like Forestieri does with his skill. It will be interesting seeing as Forestieri won't be playing now - according to his own twitter. Ranegie must be on the bench.
