Sarr Pedro Hause and Davis could feature tomorrow so i will leave the starting lineup predictions to everybody else.
Yes just a question of whether Sarr will play or not. If not it will be a very weak looking front line again....
https://www.watfordfc.com/news/team-news-watford-v-queens-park-rangers A late decision will be made on the availability of both Isma*la Sarr and João Pedro for the Hornets’ Sky Bet Championship clash at home to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday (August 27, 3pm KO). Sarr - who has been absent since the 1-0 victory over Burnley earlier this month - has been back in training this week after recovering from hamstring stiffness, while João Pedro is aiming for a return after missing the Preston and MK Dons clashes with a calf strain. Fellow forward Keinan Davis continues to suffer with illness and won’t be involved against QPR. Meanwhile, the club is exercising caution with regard to Tom Cleverley’s return to training after his calf injury, though the club captain is making good progress with his rehab. Defender Jeremy Ngakia missed the last two games with a minor back complaint, though the injury is not expected to keep him out long-term. Elsewhere, Imr*n Louza is back to completing solo work outside following a knee injury sustained at the back end of last season, Samuel Kalu (hamstring) is close to returning to full training, and Tom Dele-Bashiru remains out with a knee ligament problem. Does sound like there is scope for an appearance from both Sarr and Pedro. Do have to wonder exactly what is up with Davis though. If he is not yet up to full fitness, you would still think he offers something in the final 5-10 of a game given the ***** we have up there atm.
The club not committing to Sarr or JP playing in case we get another bid and have to pull them out of the squad again. Or they won't let either play to ensure they don't get injured.
I don't think QPR's plans will change too much as Sarr, JP, Bayo and Manaj are all dangerous players.
You’d think Sarr would be fit - he was travelling up last week with the squad . Maybe they are waiting to see if Pedro’s head is “in the right frame of mind” to play ?
Watford players never make a late return to fitness so, with Davis having the lurgy, I can't see us scoring a goal tomorrow.
I have a terrible feeling about this game. Got a "back to reality" home defeat written all over it with the manager saying "we go again" in the observer Saturday night.
Reading the QPR forums they can't stand Stroud either. Reckon he isn't a real Lootown fan but just claims to be so that he can referee his beloved Bournemouth. The have only won 3 of the last 21 games that he has been in charge of.
Quite proud of myself. On the Watfordspaces twitter q and a my question to Daniel Bachmann elicited two f bombs in 20 seconds. And it's live.....
Let me get this straight , Referee Stroud is a... 1- Luton Fan 2- But an even bigger Bournemouth fan 3- A referee A dislikeable human being if ever there was one,
