I’ve seen Grieves twice this season in the 25 or so minutes away at Reading in the cup and this afternoon less than 10 mins, he seems all action and not afraid to immediately get stuck in, Wilder had some special words with him on the pitch at the end of the game, interesting to know what he said, maybe wherever I end up if you don’t get games here I will have you, just wondering? Looks a good prospect!
I did wonder why they were so many police for an important last game but maybe it was for the Stoke fans. https://twitter.com/JohnDWFC/status/1655667943110238208
All he said was we should target some. ******* hell man this forum is so boring now. Sometimes there is no right or wrong answer. Or the words written are simply just the words written, 10 posts of analysis on every comment is boring!!!
Anyway, for what it’s worth. Thought Keinan was truly awful today, one of the worst striker displays I have seen and yet he walks away with a goal and assist both extremely fortunate, football is weird. Again, I can’t fault Sarr for effort tonight, actually thought he looked a bit brighter with a slight spring in his step, maybe buzzing to be off. Louza was excellent, an early through ball for Sarr was delightful. Won’t always be that easy for him as teams won’t have nothing to play for like today but if he can / wants to get a backbone and apply himself then we should build around him. Porteous worryingly panicky. Bachmann some big saves. Kone is a real concern, really gone backwards. To conclude I cannot stress enough, just how delighted I am to not have to watch Keinan Davis lumber around up front, for that alone, I am so happy the season is over.
Not convinced Serie A is any better for him. He’s not weak per se but lacks serious decision making and scanning ability. Not sure a loan fixes that. Has all the raw materials just needs coaching maybe?
That is true. I haven’t kept up with Udinese’s managerial movements this year, are they sacking at a similar rate?
Apologies that my opinion offends you. Yours seems to offend others as many arguments recently show. That’s literally the forum. You’re part of it, bemoaning it is strange.
They probably count all the stewards - Gino has a few thousand cloned ones no doubt ready to unleash at the first sign of trouble.
It’s not about your opinion I just think if a guy says we should target players from WBA if they go under then we should just take it at as that. A general suggestion, nothing too dramatic. It’s not the end of the world if he thinks they’re in a dire financial situation. One of my favourite tweets: “Only on Twitter can someone can say one thing like “I like oranges” and someone else will reply “So you hate bananas?”
I was a WFC steward for a couple of seasons as a teenager. I had a pretty cushy number in the main stand but towards the end of one match I got redeployed down to the Rookery as the Man City fans were getting rowdy. They all took the pi55 out of me and refused to respect my authoriti, so I made it clear to them that I didn't want to be there and they could do whatever they wanted to but please don't hurt me. I wouldn't have been taking anyones protest flags away.
How is the irony totally lost on you that you’re moaning about someone responding to someone else’s post with an opinion? I personally find these types of posts far more irritating and pointless as they add zero to the debate. I mean what’s more stupid: Only on Twitter can someone can say one thing like “I like oranges” and someone else will reply “So you hate bananas “Hey guys, why are you talking about fruit, on a discussion forum about fruit?” As a reminder: discussion forum (also discussion board, message board) a place on the internet where people can exchange ideas and opinions about a topic Join us on the discussion forum and share your views.
Anyone know why music wasn't blared out from the PA system at ear-splitting volume immediately after the full time whistle yesterday?
Because the players' had to concentrate on their lap of shame... and then the cheers and applause would be drowned out. However, I will give Kabasele a bit of credit for taking some photo's and speaking to the younger fans.
I enjoyed the mascot who, before the game, was unable or unwilling to name his favourite Watford player. He didn’t actually say: “None of them, they’re all ****”, but the implication hung heavily in the air. That lad will go far.
Not lauding our attendance, but surely we're not the only ones inflating attendances by automatically including STHs whether they turn up or not?
Are we inflating them or are we required to include them effectively as tickets sold for the match? I dunno ?
However awful this season has been, I still say it’s nice to end it with a win. Something happy to remember ahead of us now being dragged back into the footballing dark ages.
