You don't get to see interviews after watching the game live each week,That's what football highlight shows are for,you really are a **** like most of our fanbase I bet you sit at games ******* sweets while you take notes to post your great thoughts of the games.Walts is a **** and his staff are a joke like you.Everyone I know that goes to all the games home&Away year after year think he is aswell and can't stand the football we are playing.

 

Of course it's all about the points, points equal survival at the moment, the longer we stay an established premier league team, the more chance we have of attracting better players to our club, instead of them choosing to go elsewhere. That way we (hopefully) start to see a better quality, more entertaining brand of football, ergo we are both happy.

The nice thing about predicting a manager/head coach's downfall is that over a long enough time period, you're almost always right.

 

These are just my thoughts. I think Mazzarri is under pressure and I can't see how he will keep his job if we lose the next two games. If we remain unbeaten, the pressure will ease.

There comes a crisis point though, lose to Palace and Sunderland, then I believe we'll be at the point.

 

It's not really true though. I said he would probably be gone had we lost to Boro, but we drew then there was a small up turn in form. A draw at Bournemouth, a win at Arsenal and the first half against Burnley. Since that point we gone backwards again.

A second half where we were outplayed by a team with 10 men and only 1 point on the road. Actually lost the second half and nearly threw away the win. Then it was United. Ok, Old Trafford is a tough place, but it was only the performance of the season from Gomes prevented us from being destroyed.

West Ham then Southampton followed and most of us saw how far we've gone backwards in those games.......so if we play to that level again in the next two games......I don't see how we'll get anything from either.

Put it this way.....if we lose the next two....I think virtually everyone will be saying he's got to go.

Honestly though, you've been predicting when he'll go based on "if we lose the next bla bla amount of games" all season and it hasn't happened yet. So what makes you think it will now when the squad is stronger than it was and we're playing a teeny bit better than we were earlier on in the season?

 

Er...yes, it is, and it's not remotely arguable. Most managers leave their posts due to being sacked.

I've not...that's your perception, but it's not really true. I know it's a forum thing to do, and there's not too much I can do about it. I said he'll probably go if we lost to Boro which didn't happen, and I'm saying he'll go if we lose the next two.

That's only twice and under certain circumstances, so it's not all season, every time we lose or any other "story" someone wants to tell.

I've never even called for him to go. I've always maintained it should be reviewed at the end of the season. I'm just predicting what I think the club would do, which I think is perfectly reasonable.

You feel we're playing a little better right now? Seriously? I think we're playing the worst football now than at any time under Mazzarri. We're at the level of performance similar to the end of last season, when everyone knew Flores was going and the team played without hope at Norwich. Southampton was a replica of that type of performance. I think it was so bad, and West Ham before that, that it will really have the owners very concerned.

You are making things up yet again. You predicted after home loss to Stoke that he'd be gone if we lost at home to Everton and then lost at Sunderland. I guess people just find your constant predictions of "if Mazzarri loses next 2 games he will be sacked" completely tedious. As others have said if you post it after every indifferent run of course it will come true eventually.

Your posts add zero value at all.

I think I've solved it...

 

Agree with nearly all of this.

I do think that with Gabbiadini, Southampton are as good as Everton, and so clearly better than 12 teams in the division. They are far ahead of us in their development, but they are the perfect model to follow.

I think the shape is wrong for a few reasons. One might be, like you say, poor coaching (and communication).

But I think we've been making individual mistakes for a long time. We've known that Britos has a clanger or two up his sleeve. That Holebas always gets caught out of position. That our backup right and left backs are very poor. That Gomes is also due a clanger every so often, and flaps at the ball far too much. And like you say, we continuously back up to our own goal, when at times the ball is clearly there to be won, with a bit of bravery.

We've switched to 4 at the back, but we don't have any full backs, only wing backs. Essentially, when teams counter attack us, they almost instantly are only against 2 defenders.

Whatever happens with Walt, we need a big upgrade to our defence, including CB's, full backs and defensive midfielders.

 

Would help if you could understand what you read. The thread Mazzarri out was for posters who ------ want Mazzarri out. The thread Mazzarri replacement was a question as to whether there was any truth in a particular rumour - to which the response seems to be "none"
The same people post on both threads and also on Mazzarri in - so their comments will be repeated quite often in two or three places.
