Pure banter is Hughton and Cook have both been on the verge of taking the Bristol City job just to withdraw at the 11th hour in hope of getting our job, only to see us go and appoint some cronie from Serie D.

I've looked at this guy's qualifications.

Yep. Lower leagues but his record is mightily impressive from 2012 onwards. He's got a win percentage of 44.5 over the last eight years, including three promotions as Champions. Even this season, his performance at Wigan was pretty impressive given the car crash that was going on at that club. Warming to the idea...
